With the exploitation of oil and the increasing pollution of the environment,the global environmental deterioration and energy crisis have forced us to search for new alternative energy sources.Hydrogen energy as its advantages of clean and efficient,has become the potential energy among numerous energy.In the numerous of hydrogen storage materials,ammonia borane?NH3BH3,AB?with its high quality hydrogen storage capacity?19.6 wt.%?,high stability and low cost has become one of the most promising materials for hydrogen storage.Through the hydrolysis of ammonia borane catalyst on hydrogen,selected a suitable catalyst at room temperature,1 mol AB can release 3 mol hydrogen through hydrolysis with suitable catalyst at room temperature.It is no toxic substances released.Nickel based catalysts are cheap and environmentally friendly.At the same time,nickel can be combined with a variety of metals to form alloy or solid solution.In addition,the nickel based catalyst is easy to reduce.In this paper,the nickel based catalysts and the properties of catalysts with light-assisted were studied.The main contents are as follows:?1?Transition metal catalysts have good catalytic performance.But it is easy to reunite and lose the catalytic effect without loading.In addition,ultraviolet light is considered as an auxiliary condition in my thesis,so the light sensitive matrial TiO2was introduced to the system.We use sol-gel and polystyrene template to prepare the titanium dioxide and nickel composite spherical catalyst.We prepared TiO2-M?M=Ni,NiCo,NiCu,NiFe,CoCu,NiCoCu?composite spherical catalyst,and change the proportion of the metal,in order to find out the ratio with best performance.The characterization and catalytic performance of the synthesized catalysts were tested.The results of hydrogen desorption show that the three TiO2-NiCoCu composite catalyst has the best hydrogen evolution performance.?2?The influences of light on catalytic of ammonia borane hydrolysis of hydrogen performance were investigated by introducing external factors,the photocatalytic properties of metal catalysts supported on spherical TiO2 composites were investigated,and the mechanism was studied referring the literature.?3?We use the dipping method to prepare another TiO2-Ni composite catalyst,and the hydrogen performance of commercial TiO2 supported nickel catalyst and the TiO2-Ni composite sphere catalyst from?1?under light illumination were tested,to investigate whether the light can improve the catalytic performance of the catalysts for hydrogen generation from ammonia borane of hydrolysis.The hydrogen release test shows that light is a good condition to improve the speed of hydrogen generation from ammonia borane,and the two catalysts we prepared are very good photocatalysts.
