With the rapid development of science and technology,the intelligent of industrial equipment is higher and higher,which means higher maintenance difficulty.Once the industrial equipment stop working,the users will have a huge economic loss.The traditional maintenance way has been unable to adapt modern production and management model,which not only waste the manpower and material resources,but also reduce the efficiency of equipment maintenance.So manufacturers and users of industrial equipment are very eager to achieve remote diagnosis and maintenance of industrial equipment,especially for the bending machine,one of the typical industrial equipments.What's more,the rapid development of wireless communication and diagnostic technology brings a new opportunity to the remote monitoring system.A remote diagnostic system based on cloud service for the bending machine was designed in this paper,which can not only achieve remote diagnosis and maintenance for the bending machine,but also improve the maintenance and management efficiency.This system consists of remote terminal module,cloud diagnostic center and monitoring client.The remote terminal modules include microprocessors and various sensors,which can collect field temperature,spindle acceleration and related data of equipment control system based of embedded technology,then sent these data to the cloud diagnostic center.After that,the cloud diagnostic center stores the received data in the database,then processes and analyzes it with cloud computing technology,finally sent the computing result to the monitoring client.So the maintenance staff can observe the running state of the bending machine through the monitoring client,which can make a more accurate diagnosis and analysis of the fault type,even to avoid the occurrence of fault.Once the fault occurs,the maintenance staff is able to modify the internal parameters of the remote terminal module remotely to complete the remote maintenance.The host computer of the monitoring client was developed with LabVIEW software.Finally,the remote diagnostic system was tested in this paper,the result shows that: This system is running normally with reliable data transmission,and meets the need of remote monitoring and diagnosis of the bending machine,which bring it a good application value and broad application prospects.
