Friction and adhesion phenomena are common in daily life.In general,some practical problems can be solved by improving the surface performance.For example,the anti-skid performance on the surfaces of the mobile phone and tablet computer is very important.Poor anti-slip performance may lead to unnecessary economic losses.Inspired by the micro-structures of the Tree frog's and newt's toe pads,micro structures with different parameters were fabricated on the UV-Curing coating in order to improve the friction and adhesion properties of the mobile phone or tablet shell.This paper selected a kind of polyurethane acrylate(PUA)coating which is commonly used on mobile phone as the research object.Surface textures with different parameters were produced on PUA surface using UV curing technology and Lithography & Replica technique.According to the actual operating conditions,three load conditions and three contact conditions were defined.The static friction and adhesion properties of the two samples were tested and analyzed respectively and the mechanism of bionic surface texture was revealed.The main conclusions drawn from this study are as follows:1.Under most test conditions,processing surface texture on the surface of PUA specimen can improve the static friction coefficient to some extent.And it can also reduce the adhesion force of the PUA specimen appropriately.Under certain conditions,the surface texture with optimal parameters can increase the static friction coefficient of samples by 53.26% and reduce the adhesion force by 30%.2.The contact condition has little effect on the static friction coefficient of the specimen.However,as the sweat volume increases,the adhesion force of the specimen increases significantly with the effect of texture decreasing.With the increase of the preloading force,the adhesion force of the specimen increase significantly within certain range.With the increase of load,the static friction coefficient decreases significantly with the effect of texture getting weaker accordingly.3.With the increase of texture area ratio,both of the static friction coefficient and the adhesion force increases gradually.The influence of the diameter of texture on the adhesion and the static friction coefficient is weak.Compared with the round dimple texture,the hexagonal pillar texture shows better effect on increasing friction and exhibits smaller adhesion force in most cases.The conclusion can provide references for the design of the shell of electronic devices such as mobile phone and tablet.
