With the rapid development of oil exploration and development, conventional oil and gas reservoirs with better physical properties have mostly been developed. In order to meet the growing demand for oil and gas resources, the oil and gas field development industry will gradually shift their focus to complex reservoirs.Theses oil and gas reservoirs are usually of high temperature and high pressure, heterogeneity and other characteristics, making exploration and development more difficult. The carbonate reservoir L of MX is large in reserves, with good test results and complex geological condition, meaning it has good development prospect and great production difficulty.Based on the knowledge of geology, rock mechanics, reservoir physics, seepage mechanics, oil production engineering and reservoir engineering, this paper combines CT scanning, physical simulation experiments and mathematical software to study the characteristics of reservoir pore spaces, physical properties, the microcopical structures of L reservoir and makes type division according to the physical properties;High temperature and high pressure comprehensive core analysis and testing device is used to study the gas phase seepage characteristics of gas reservoir over different production pressures as well as reservoir property lower-limits under the control of economic production limit; The device is also used to study gas production characteristics of different property combinations. The research methods and conclusions of this paper have been evaluated by the cooperative company, and the research results have been applied to field test and production.
