Therefore, fiber reinforced technology as a kind ofenhancement technology has been through a mount of test is limited by fiber of high cost?only use in some special projects. Now much more attention has been paid in it.Plant fiber is a kind of low cost and renewable resources. Study in putting it as acement base material of reinforced material has very practical significance. In the1980s,many countries have carried out on plant fiber as the research and application ofreinforcing fiber cement-based material, especially the developing country is rich in plantfiber, but research is not perfect enough.Past studies basically started around the concrete. With no coarse aggregate of cementbase small block research is relatively less than those who with it. So this article focuseson fiber length to diameter ratio and dosage's influence of cement base small block. Bytesting the dosage of0.5kg/m3?1.0kg/m3?1.5kg/m3?2.0kg/m3?2.5kg/m3sisal fiber?bamboo fiber and polypropylene fiber reinforced cement based materials and testing thelength as10mm20mm30mm fiber reinforced cement based materials' physical andmechanical performance experimental results showed that plant fiber can be relativelyuniform distribution in the matrix, and effectively improve the various physical andmechanical properties of concrete. Under the condition of low dosage, the mixed fiberscan be on the flexural strength of specimen has obvious increase and with the increase ofdosage of flexural strength can be further improved, but when the fiber content is too high,specimen flexural strength will begin to decline Compared with ordinary concrete, fiberconcrete compressive strength slightly lower than ordinary concrete, but the splittingtensile strength, bending strength, tensile strength increased, the toughness of concrete areimproved significantly. The result shows that the mixed plant fiber can reduce shrinkageof concrete cracks, and greatly improve the anti-cracking performance of concrete. Comprehensive consideration of various factors, we argue that test sisal fiber is the bestlength of20mm, the best dosage of2.0kg/m3.By plant fiber enhancement effect and the effect of polypropylene fiber reinforcedcontrast, can be learned that the plant fiber reinforced cement base block flexural strengthis lower than polypropylene fiber reinforced cement matrix blocks slightly, but is up to thenational standard for flexural strength to compressive strength ratio requirements. Bit itscost is only1/8of the polypropylene fiber is even lower. Therefore the plant fiber can beused as an effective reinforcing material in cement block...
