Catalytic combustion is one of the most practicable techniques to eliminate VOCs,which is paid attention to people,but the traditional Catalytic combustion has many problems such as the low ratio of energy utilization,the low of heating rate and catalyst deactivation.To solve the problem of insufficient of VOCs combustion process,this research use a new method that is microwave catalytic combustion with the perovskite catalyst to combustion the VOCs.The acetone is the goal pollutant to catalytic combust.The study compared the traditional catalytic combustion efficiency by electrical heating to the microwave catalytic combustion,researched several conditions,such as temperature,space velocity,concentration and power of the effect to the catalytic performance.The results show that the temperature and space velocity have more effect to catalytic combustion than concentration and power.The higher bed temperature have the better efficiency to catalytic combustion processing.With the different concentration the catalytic combustion efficiency get above 90%.At the same conditions,compared with the traditional catalytic combustion,the purification efficiency of microwave catalytic combustion is higher than 20%.XRD,SEM,BET and many other characterization techniques was used to represent the phase,size,surface structure,specific area and aperture of the catalyst.The catalyst is mainly calcium ferrite,which has high dielectric constant.Under the condition of power of 300 w,the catalytic can reach 856?in 900 s.The catalytic without poisoning and sintering have long life.The result by response surface methodology show that the best condition to process the acetone can be 94.79%which the power is 430W,the space velocity is 9821h~-11 and the concentration of acetone is 2956mg/m~3.The research built a pilot laboratory equipment which is designed processing capacity of 1000 m~3and conducted pilot experiments.Using the equipment to purify factory waste gas containing acrolein and lampblack respectively,the purification efficiency of the waste gas can both reach above 96%.Above all,this new microware catalytic combustion would have broader prospects of VOCs purify,because of the higher catalytic combustion efficiency than traditional catalytic combustion and the good performance of catalytic.
