The sleeping bag and moisture-proof pad etc.have been the requirements as the outdoor activities are becoming more and more important in people's lives.The consumers had trouble to make choices for the non-standard testing standards which limited outdoor sleeping bag market.The filling materials of sleeping bag are mostly feather and chemical fibers.The feather is expensive while chemical fiber is due to the oil.The kapok is the most hollow natural fiber and fine in keeping warm.In addition,the kapok fiber is antibacterial and anti-mite.It's pregant in expanding outdoor equipment market,costing savings,increasing the functional and broadening application of the natural resources to explore the possibility of the application of kapok fibrous assemblies in filling materials of sleeping bag.The kapok fiber was combined with the filling materials of sleeping bag as the point in the paper.The basic properties of fibers and warmth of loose material collections were studied.The sleeping bag samples were made and the matching process was optimized depending on experiments.The complete sleeping bags were made depending on the optimized process and the warmth,antibacterial and anti-mite properties were tested.The main research results are as follows:(1)The hollow integrity of fiber affects the warmth properties of fibrous assemblies combining the SEM of kapok fiber with rising temperature of the fibrous assemblies.The average strength of kapok fiber is 1.73 cN with preparation method.The keeping warm properties of kapok,3D hollow polyester and 90% grey duck down fibrous assemblies are: 90% grey duck down> kapok>3D hollow polyester by testing qualitatively.The kapok assemblies can keep warm in the limited humidity by testing the different humidity of kapok assemblies.(2)The single fibrous sleeping bag samples?mixed ratio samples and ten groups mixed samples were made and the thermal and wet resistance and compressibility were tested.The results were that kapok/90% grey duck down/3D hollow polyester in 2/6/2 was better than 4/4/2.(3)The grams per square meter and quilting size of filling materials were optimized depending on making sleeping bag samples.The complete sleeping bags were made.The keeping warmth properties were tested through ?NEWTON thermal manikin?.The test results were turned as scale range.Both of them were between 5?~15? as sleeping bag used in Spring&Autumn.The anti-mite property of kapok/90% grey duck down/3D hollow polyester(2/6/2)was tested based on GB/T 24253-2009.The result was that anti-mite effect was 64.29%.This paper contains 35 figures,21 tables,68 references.
