Polybrominated diphenyl ether?PBDEs?and Dechloranes?DPs?are brominated and chlorinated flame retardants, respectively, which can be use in electric wire, cable, computer, plastic and other polymer materials.Previous reports have found that some PBDEs are typical persistent organic pollutant and their residues,spatio-temporal distributions, transport process and ecotoxicities have been studied. However,as a potential substitute of PBDEs,although DPs exitst in various environmental media and organisms, studies about bioaccumulation, organ distribution, and biomagnifications of DPs are scarce. In the present thesis, different kinds of fishes were collected from Yongning River, which flows through e-waste dismantling centers in Taizhou city,China.Concentrations of both DPs and PBDEs were detected in liver, brain, eggs, and gill in order to compare their organ distribution profiles. The main results are as follows:?1?Method detection limit?MDL?of BDE 28,47,99,100,153,154,183,209were 0.007,0.005,0.014,0.020,0.015,0.010,0.040,and 0.132 ng/g dry weight?dw?,respectively. And their corresponding spiked recoveries were 99.9±4.2%,103.5±12%,99.7±12.5%,106.1±10%,96.2±11.1%,100±12.1%,85.1±3.4%and 101.7±2.2%,respectively.The MDL values of Mirex,DPMA,Dec 602,Dec 603,Dec 604,aCl10-DP and aCl11-DP were 0.023,0.035,0.008,0.007,0.084,0.015,0.002,0.066 and0.016 ng/g dw,respectively. And their corresponding spiked recoveries were101.6±2.5%,75.4±1.4%,96.9±4.5%,95.7±7.9%,98.9±4.5%,101.5±5.2%,95.9±7.9%and 105.2±1.5%.Recovery of surrogates,i.e.,13C12-PCB141 and 13C12-PCB208 were 92.7%±11.1%and 96.5%±15.2%,respectively.Moreover,syn-DP and anti-DP can be detected in the blank, but their concentrations were less than 10%of thosn in the samples.?2?Concentrations of PBDEs in liver, gill, eggs, and brain of fishes were 172.09±5.68 ng/g wet weight?ww??0.65-1305.13 ng/g ww?,77.28±0.55 ng/g ww?53.89-150.33 ng/g ww?,15.37±0.50 ng/g ww?3.69-32.73 ng/g ww?,and 23.73±0.94 ng/g w w?13.31-52.75 ng/g ww?,respectively. While the concentrations of DPs in liver, gill, eggs, and brain of fishes were 2.44-67.86 ng/g ww?38.33±3.96 ng/g ww?,4.31-19.57 ng/g ww?9.39±0.63 ng/g ww?,0.71-7.41 ng/g ww?1.19±3.11 ng/g ww?,and 0.63-1.60 ng/g ww?1.06±0.17 ng/g ww?.The results were comparable to PBDEs and DPs de tected in the aquatic organism from another e-waste dismanting area in China.Moreo ver,PBDEs and DPs levels in different organs we obtained in Taizhou fish is in the m edian or high of the global range.?3?For DPs,their concentrations in different organs were in the order of liver>brain>eggs>gill, while for PBDEs,liver>brain>gill>eggs.Relatively high residues of both PBDEs and DPs in liver and brain may be attribute to high lipid content of these two organ.Besides this, the opposite distribution profiles of PBDEs and DPs in eggs and gill is possibly related to the physicochemical properties and input pathway of the chemicals.
