Comparative Analysis,selection And Application Of Indoor Gas Pipeline

Today there are many types of indoor gas pipeline,including galvanized-steel pipe,light gauge stainless steel tube,seamless steel pipe,copper pipe,aluminum-plastic composite pipe,rubber pipe and stainless steel corrugated pipe.Different pipe material has different properties,so the pipes have different performance and they are used in different environment.In China,the major cities select the gas pipes according to their own actual needs,but the selection does not keep the same.In Shenzhen,indoor gas pipeline have experienced from seamless steel pipe to the outside-galvanized-steel pipe,and then the light gauge stainless steel tube and outer galvanized pipe coexist.The traditional method of pipe selection is confined to the experience of gas experts,by which the evaluation is much more qualitative but little quantitative.This selection usually misses some important factors that affect the pipe performance,so the conclusions are unable to judge quantitatively the performance of the pipes.And now it is already unable to adapt to the present refinement of the pipe selection requirement.Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation is based on fuzzy mathematics,and utilizes the principle of Fuzzy relation to quantify some ill-defined or difficult quantitative factors,so as to make a comprehensive evaluation for the membership status of a grade.With the help of Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation,this article will evaluate the overall performance of galvanized steel pipe and light gauge stainless steel tube from four main aspects:safety,economy,practicality and environmental protection.The evaluation results indicate that the overall performance of light gauge stainless steel tube is superior to galvanized steel pipe,but light gauge stainless steel tube is not perfect after all.We must do some fully operational work on the production process,testing process,construction materials,construction process and product pipeline protection,etc.to ensure the promotion and application of light gauge stainless steel tube in the gas industry.
