G Steel Supply Chain Integration Platform Business Model Research

Professor famous management guru Peter Drucker once said:" Competition competition among enterprises is not present between products,but competition between business models." After a number of companies such as Wal-Mart,Dell,Haier,Alibaba,millet and other domestic mobile phone enterprises hair,with its own unique business model to provide customers with unprecedented convenience,bring their considerable development,changes in the pattern of the industry in one fell swoop.Practice has proved that a lot of companies want to gain a competitive advantage,in a way,business model innovation is more important than the product or service innovation!No doubt that China is the world's first steel big country,but by no means steel power,ostensibly steel distribution industry concentration is low,the lack of in-depth customer service,the steel industry chain relationships loose.But the reason is behind the steel distribution business model.Traditional business model is to profit by trading the difference,once caught in the fierce competition in the market as well as the world financial crisis,in order to make a living in the iron and steel enterprises will fall into the reign of the "Red Sea being and not extricate themselves.Unfortunately,most domestic enterprises still remain in the primary stage of profit model,when the economy to grow along with growing economic malaise toward losses or even bankruptcy.China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing statistics[1],in 200867.8%of the steel trading business volume and sales revenue last year,despite an increase of 20-30%,but 73.7%year on year profits fell by 10-20%,12%of the amount of corporate profits declined by 50%up to 90%,a few losses.In order to break out from the current steel distribution industry reshuffle and integration,G company made steel supply chain integration platform business model,the iron and steel production,logistics and distribution,shear processing,steel trading companies and terminal manufacturers to integrate through the supply chain integration form an integrated,platform software industry chain parties through information sharing,mutual collaboration.In this paper,theoretical support to Wei Wei,Zhu Wuxiang teacher in the "discovery business model" and "reconstruction business model" two books in view of the proposed business model,from the positioning of the business model,business systems,critical resource capacity,profit model,free cash flow structure and enterprise value six aspects of the steel supply chain integration platform business model design and research,combined with G company in the steel distribution industry developments comparative analysis of the actual situation,profitable way to explore new business models and the actual operation of the entry point.This paper is divided into six parts:Part ?:Introduction section.The main research background,status,purpose,meaning,content and framework,laid the foundation for the study of the writing of this article.Part ?:Research steel distribution industry's business model.Firstly,the existing business model,its systematic summary and comb;Second,the study abroad steel distribution industry's business model,mainly in Japan and the U.S.is the contrast between the steel distribution industry business models;Finally,the above theoretical study results of this thesis theoretical innovation,namely Wei Zhu supply chain business model framework.Part ?:Practical case studies.Analysis of the use of elements of the supply chain business model,Zhu Wei framework guiding G's steel supply chain integration platform business model,building the company into a G steel supply chain integration platform supporting system,improving deficiencies in the actual development of Company G in the steel distribution industry.Part ?:Summary and Outlook.Summary of the thesis,the study of supply chain business model,Zhu Wei high hopes.
