Electrospun nanofibrous membrane with their unique properties,such as high specific surface area,good interconnectivity of pores,and small pore size,make them preferable as an excellent air filtration media.In this study,four different types of composite nanofibrous filters containing the composite HEPA and the antibacterial composite filter were prepared by electrospinning.In this study,the composite HEPA were researched at two different methods.Firstly,polymer fibrous filters consisted of three layers,including non-woven polypropylene(PP)supporting layer,sub-micrometer polyethylene terephalate(PET)fibrous mid-layer and polyaminde-6(PA6)nanofibrous top layer.Various characterizes and tests were used to evalued the membranes.The results show that the filtration efficiency was increases with the thicker of the PA6 nanofibrous,and the highest filtration efficiency can reach the 99.97%.Secondly,the electrospun microballoon was added into the nanofibrous layer,to higher the filtration performance.The influence of filters thickness and the amount of microballoon on filtration performance were researched.The results revealed that the filter composite of microballoon and,nanofiber exhibited higher filration performance.On the other hands,two different methods were used to prepare the antibacterial composite filter.Firstly,the nanofious filters were introduced of Ag NPs by the reduction action.Different characterizations and performance tests were conducted on the composite filters prepared in this work.The blending electrospun fiber show a curly structure,and fibrous filter with these structure exhibited lower pressure drop of 730 Pa and similar loading filtration efficiency of 99.97%comparing to the fibrous filter with straight structure.Secondly,the chitosan was used to endow the filters of antibacterial ability.The optimum mass ratio of CTS:PET and the optimum ratio of crosslinking bath of GA were developed.And different characterizations and performance tests were conducted on the composite filters prepared.The results showed that the Ag NPs on the surface of the filter was distributed homogeneity.The composite filter show high filtration efficiency and antibacterial activity.
