In recent years,the water pollution problems are becoming more and more serious,due to the industrial wastewater and domestic wastewater.And the industrial wastewater is mainly from food industry,pharmaceutical industry,petrochemical industry,and so on.Just because of this,it is becoming an important task for sewage treatment and various water treatment technologies developed rapidly.Among them,ultrafiltration technology is considered to be the most effective treatment technology.And ultrafiltration technology has generated great interest because of lower operation pressure,low energy consumption and convenient operation.However,characteristics of ultrafiltration membranes are the core part of ultrafiltration.Whether the effects of the ultrafiltration are ideal or not depends greatly on characteristics of ultrafiltration membranes.Therefore,the preparation and characterization of ultrafiltration membranes are our research emphasis.Conventional ultrafiltration fabricated by the phase inversion method and the surface of it provide a lower porosity and the disconnected water channel,therefore,increasing the resistence of water permeation as well as increasing the fouling of pollutants.On the contrary,the development of electrospinning greatly improves the performance of ultrafiltration,involving the advantage of high porosity,high specific surface area and opening structure.This new type of ultrafiltration membrane based on electrospinning show that high flux,high retention rate,contamination resistance,lower cost and low operation pressure.It brings new dawn to high-performance filtration.In this paper,we prepared alcohol(PVA)/ Poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF)composite ultrafiltration membranes in connection with the combination of electrospinning technology and solution treatment.The principle and processes for preparing the ultrafiltration membrane were introduced and the composite structure mainly includes a hydrophilic PVA barrier layer and supporting layer.This strategy for fabrication of composite ultrafiltration membrane not only offers a dense layer but also the more water channel.The paper mainly discussed the optimization on preparation conditions of ultrafiltration membrane based on those methods in detail.In addition,also characterized the surface structure of ultrafiltration membrane and tested various properties of ultrafiltration membrane,such as hydrophilicity,filtration performance,etc.In order to solve the practical applied problem,we prepared the PVA/Polyethylene terephthalate(PET)nanofiberous composite membrane,simulated the industrial conditions to test the filtration performance,the results show that the composite ultrafiltration membrane has good operation at low flux,poor impact resistance performance.
