Pitaya(Hylocereus undulatus)which called aka dragon fruit,red dragon fruit is a tropical and subtropical famous fruit.Pitaya cactus is mainly triangular column species and native to tropical Central America.Pitaya is riched in nutritious,such as rare plant albumin,anthocyanins,vitamins and soluble dietary fiber.In addition,Pitaya peel,flower and fruit flower stems have a very important application.Most of the research at abroad for Pitaya is concentrated on cultivation,biological characteristics,storage and preservation.The study of nutritional components in particular the extraction of active ingredients is less.In this study,using different extraction methods,the different parts of the Red/White of Pitaya was extracted and the active ingredients were identified.And some special ingredients were preliminary purification of Pitaya,exploration on the ways to apply the active ingredients and special Pitaya ingredients,which provides the basis for the study on the use of deep processing of Pitaya.The main results obtained in this study are as follows.(1)Extraction of Pitaya active ingredient.Using three different extraction methods(ethanol solvent extraction,cellulose and benzene/ethanol extraction,steam distillation),in different parts of the Red Pitaya,white Pitaya(pulp and peel)extracted the active ingredient.The results showed that the percentage of the three Red Pitaya pulp extract raw materials accounted for 14.5%,12.0%,18.0%,the percentage of peel were 12.0%7.5%14.5%;percentage of white heart Pitaya pulp were 16.0%,14.5%,20.5%.Peel percentage were 14.0%9.0%15.0%.(2)The GC/MS identification of volatile constituents of the Pitaya.Using GC/MS(Agilent 5975C/7890A)for on-line analysis of different extracts,the results showed that the Red Pitaya and White Pitaya's peel and pulp are identified different types of active substances.The ethanol extract of the red Pitaya pulp and peel,white Pitaya pulp and peel,containing polysilocane,the content was 10.09%,24.21%,25.77%,23.25%.It also contains a heterocyclic substances,and the content of the peel is much higher than the pulp.By the enzyme and benzene/ethanol extracts four materials,contain this type of polysilixone material,the contents were 6.75%,2.86%,18.22%,3.16%.And four kinds of extraction steam distillation in the raw material,containing material is silicone and heterocyclic compounds,for redpitaya.polysiloxane containing content in pulp and peel of basically the same accounted for 2.07%and 2.02%,the content of fruit pulp white Pitaya 11.55%,pulp content is 9.69%.Regardless of Red Pitaya or White Pitaya,the heterocyclic compounds is the content of the peel is far greater than the content in the pulp.Extracted by three extraction methods of species with some other substances,such as hydrocarbons,alcohols,esters,amides,halide,fatty acids,these materials also play an important role in the biological medicine,cosmetics,skin care products and chemical production.(3)The preliminary purification of Pitaya special ingredients.In general,puification methods were according to rotary evaporator.After purification using GC/MS(Agilent 5975C/7890A)analysis the material,the special ingredient is polysiloxane.The red pitaya three initial extract of active ingredient percentages were 20.7%,22.5%,20%,peel percentages were 25%,22.8%,20.5%,the percentage of white pitaya were 19.2%,21.3%,18.6%,peel percentages were 21.4%,23.3%,22.7%.Using 100g fresh pitaya pulp and peel as material,red meat in the ethanol extract of polysiloxane extraction Purity Benzene first purification process and efficiency were 68.35%,68.35%,purity and efficiency of enzymatic extraction were 60.62%,73.96%;steam purity and efficiency were 62.12%,54.33%;red peel ethanol extraction polysiloxane extraction at the beginning of Purity Benzene purification process and efficiency were 86.51%,88.91%,purity and efficiency of enzymatic extraction were 74.86%,55.93%,purity and efficiency of extraction steam are respectively 64.02%,69.96%;white pulp in ethanol extract and polysiloxane extraction Purity Benzene initial purification process and efficiency were 71.84%,69.54%,purity and extraction efficiency enzyme method were 63.21%,65.86%,purity and efficiency of extraction steam are respectively 62.18%,63.54%;Ginkgo bark ethanol extract and polysiloxane extraction Purity Benzene initial purification process and efficiency were 73.01%,62.02%,purity and efficiency of enzymatic extraction were 71.28%,71.43%,purity and efficiency of extraction were 69.02%,51.95%.
