Appearance quality and sensory quality were assignment description by qualitative description or based on the experience of tobacco quality evaluation in china,had indelibly subjectivity and arbitrariness.To understand post-cured tobacco leaf quality more clearly and comprehensively,the paper selected 477 flue-cured tobacco which produce modulated in 2014 in 18 major tobacco producing counties of Jiangxi province,varieties including K326 and Yunyan 87,tobacco softness was determined by softness tester,determined overall condition of flue-cured tobacco softness in Jiangxi province,analyzed the relationship between softness and tobacco quality,obtained tobacco optimum softness range,the main conclusions were as follows:1.The overall situation analysis of flue-cured tobacco softness shows,lower leaf softness was 11.70~39.65 mN,middle leaf softness was 16.25~45.80 mN,upper leaf softness was 34.15~79.90 mN,it showed the lower leaf was softest,followed by middle leaf,upper leaf softness was worst.The difference of flue-cured tobacco softness between K326 and Yunyan 87 was not significant,the difference between different county was significant,softness was the smallest in Wanan country,softness was the largest in Shicheng county.2.Flue-cured tobacco color was orange or lemon in Jiangxi province,maturity was mature or yet ripe,leaf structure was loose to close,identity was thin to thick,oil wasexistto less,chroma was light to strong.the analysis of tobacco softness and appearance quality relations showed that the tobacco softness was a extremely significantly positively correlation with color,oil,chroma,extremely significantly negatively correlated with maturity,leaf structure,identity,score.Set upregression equation: y=53.201-5.578x3+2.852x6+2.136x4(x3 blade structure,identity x4,chroma x6),R2 was 81.8%,with good fit.Canonical correlation and path analysis showed: leaf structure,chroma,oil had a comparatively large effect on tobacco softness.3.Flue-cured tobacco leaf in Jiangxi province thickness was 81.63 ~ 198.74μm,single leaf weight was 6.21~18.87 g,stem ratio was 23.63%~38.73%,leaf density was 40.75 ~95.46g/m2,pull was 1.23~2.80 N,elongation was 15.78%~21.49%,fill value was 3.57~4.57cm3/g,equilibrium moisture content was 10.48%~14.59%.Stem ratio,elongation,equilibrium moisture content and the filling was weak variation,it showed that physical index which in tobacco processing performance was small difference,reflecting the overall processing performance of Jiangxi tobacco more consistent.The relations analysis between tobacco softness and physical properties showed that softness is extremely significantly positively correlated with thickness,leaf weight,leaf density,tensile and elongation,extremely significantly negatively correlated with stem ratio,filling values and the equilibrium moisture content.Set upregression equation:y=28.852+0.322x1-2.807x8+0.207x4-1.304x6+4.779x5(thickness x1,leaf density x4,tensile x5,elongation x6,equilibrium moisture content x8),R2 was 80.4%.Physical characteristics index thickness,leaf density,tensile had a comparatively large effect on tobacco softness.4.Flue-cured tobacco leaf in Jiangxi province plants total alkali content was 1.29%~4.79%,total sugar content was 13.75%~34.99%,reducing sugar content was 12.22%~33.56%,potassium content was 1.44%~3.77%,total nitrogen content was 0.06%~2.54%,starch content was 1.99 %~16.4%,chlorine content was 0.08%~1.47%.The relationship analysis between tobacco softness and conventional chemical composition showed that the softness value smaller,the tobacco more soft,so total sugar,reducing sugar and potassium content are higher,total alkaloids,total nitrogen and chlorine content are lower.Set up regression equation:y=137.715-2.262x2-13.089x4-7.351x5+7.973x7(total sugar x2,potassium x4,total nitrogen x5,chlorine x7),R2 was 66.5%,with some reference value.5.Flue-cured tobacco leaf in Jiangxi province flavor characteristics was significant,flue gas concentration was middle to darker,momentum was small to comparatively large,aroma quality was moderate to good,aroma was exist to comparatively enough,irritating was little to slight,aftertaste was comparatively pure and still comfortable to pure and comfortable.Middle leaf sensory evaluation index variation coefficient was small and weak variation,strength variation coefficient was maximum which was 7.132%,aroma quality was minimum which was 2.819%,middle leaf sensory evaluation was in good agreement in Jiangxi province,with the same style characteristics.Flue-cured tobaccosoftness was extremely significantly positively correlated with sensory evaluation index flavor,gas density,strength,aroma,pungent,significantly positively correlated with aroma quality and aftertaste,sensory evaluation quality reached better with middle leaf softnessincreased,that showed the middle leaf growing point was more up,sensory quality evaluation was better.Set up regression equation:y=-37.1-10.612x2+11.31x3+10.867x5(momentum x3,aroma x5,gas concentration x2),R2 was 75.2%,with a certain reference value.Sensory evaluation index momentum,aroma,gas concentration had a comparatively large effect on tobacco softness.6.The softness was divided into seven groups according to 10 mN group interval,analysised the overalltobacco quality of each group,obtained softness in the range of 30~ 40 mN have best quality tobacco,it showed the best overall appearance quality,good resistance processability,suitable conventional chemical composition,the best sensory evaluation quality.Followed by softness in the range of 20~30mN and 40~50mN,they showed that comparatively good tobacco quality,tobacco overall quality showed a downward trend which softness from 10 mN to 30 mN and from 40 mN to 80 mN.7.Depending appearance characterize and intrinsic quality of tobacco different softness range,Jiangxi tobacco softness was divided into four intervals: 10 ~20mN,20~40mN,40~60mN and 60~80mN,respectively corresponding to the grade of softness: soft,soft,slightly brittle and brittle,each grade softness had obvious differences in appearance and intrinsic quality,tobacco which softness in soft grades intrinsic quality was the best. |
