By adding a certain amount of SEED,UV-770,UV-944,tetramethyl piperidine amine,Chimassorb119,UV-783,UV-791 into the ring-opening hydrolysis of caprolactam,modified PA6 resin was synthesised.UV accelerated aging test,differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),thermal gravimetric(TG)analyzer,Ubbelohde viscometer,microburette was applied to research the effect of various modifiers on the light stability,thermo-oxidative stability,terminal amino content of PA6.The results showed that:adding modifiers can significantly improve the ability of aging resistance of PA6 to UV.After UV accelerated aging in pure PA6 by 192h,the yellow index rose to 42.05 from 10.64O After UV accelerated aging by 192h,the rate of increase of yellow index of modified PA6 significantly decreased.Initial decomposition temperature changed little under a nitrogen atmosphere,the initial decomposition temperature under air atmosphere was enhanced by more than 20?;after 30min of aging at 185?,s the decreased percentage of the relative viscosity of modified PA6 was extremely low,and thermal oxidative stability was significantly improved.Terminal amino group content was obviously raised.When the amount of UV-783,SEED5 UV-944,amine-tetramethyl-piperidine was increased,the end amino group content is proportional to the increase,and the dyeing performance was significantly improved.When the content of UV-770,Chimassorb119,UV-791 was added,however,the content of the terminal amino group was reduced.The effect of Various modifiers on the thermal stability,cold crystallization temperature,melting temperature and thermal crystallization temperature of PA6 were not large.By the comparison of the experimental results of various additives:the effect of SEED on the modification of PA6 was the best.The reaction of hydrolysis of UV-770,UV-791,UV-783 occured during the polymerization,and the chain of Chimassorb119 was prone to break during the polymerization process,and tetramethyl piperidine amine was not suitable for industrial production,and the effect of UV-944 was close to SEED,so it can be used as a substitute of SEED.
