With the rapid development of material technology,the composite materials have attracted more and more attention.A variety of advantages also promote its application in various industries,including: automotive,aerospace,construction shipbuilding and so on.As a kind of important connection way of composite material,the bonded-bolted hybrid joints connect laminates both with adhesive and bolt.It could obtain more excellent performance and higher strength than the single connection mode.In this paper,the hybrid connection technology studied by experiments.Firstly,the influence of fabrication technical process on the static strength of the hybrid jointswas discussed.And the difference of tensile strength,that connecting pieces under three different kinds of connection modes,was compared through the test data.The result show that the hybrid jointswas helpful to improve the tensile strength.Secondly,the combination of optimization parameters was actually realized through the orthogonal test at room temperature.Experiments show that the connection strength of the novel hybrid jointsthat aggrandized with attachments was higher than the traditional mixed connection,due to the reason that attachments contribute to changing the load transfer mode.Thirdly,stress distribution of adhesive connection,bolt connection and hybrid connection was studied with incorporation of the Digital Image Correlation system(DIC)which could analyzed the strain around the bolt and the deformation of the laminated during tensile test.The result show that stress concentration occurred in bolted connection and hybrid connection but there is no such circumstance exist in the glued joint.In addition,the impact of the high temperature on the tensile strength of hybrid joints was studiedand the static strength of the joints,when connectors soaked in water,brine and nitric acid solution,was compared.It found that a certain range of temperature had no signification effect to the strength of the hybrid connection.Connector soaked in water and Nacl solution within a certain time range could maintain its tensile properties,while acid solution speeded up the corrosion of the connection layer and bolt.Various failure forms of hybrid joint were analyzed and summarized,most of which were peeling plus hole fracture as well as failure mode with only holes edge fracture or joint tilt.
