Objective: To observe the compatibility behavior between different medications and different containers, discuss the reason for easy or not easy to be absorbed from the drug structure aspect.Method: There drugs was reconstituted with normal saline and 5% Dextrose respectively, then stored in different container for durations.Physical and chemical test were performed to evaluate the compatibility after all these analytical methods were validated or verified, including visual inspection,pH,drug efficacy and related substance. Results: The reconstituted Sufentanil Citrate injection stored in PVC container had a significant decrease trend both in pH and efficacy. The trend could be reversed by adding pH buffer to keep it in a specific range.Insulin showed physical and chemical stable with these types of material.Ceftazidime appeared a hydrolysis action for opening of the ?-lactam ring and resulted in the drug potency decreased. Conclusions:Adsorption capacity for different materials and drugs is due to the different structure in both sides.PVC material shown a significant adsorption behavior with Sufentanil Citrate, which has ahigher Log P caused by it Molecular Structure. The higher Log P,the higher adsorption ratio occurred. It is showed that to reduce the easier adsorbed form of Sufentanil, that is,to decrease the molecular form and increase the ionic form simultaneously can reduce the adsorption occurred. It would be applied for the clinical usage of Sufentanil Citrate injection in the future. It is recommended that Ceftazidime should be infused within 24 hours.
