For traditional energy,fuel cell is a kind of attractive replacement selection,which is a kind of conversion device that turns the chemical energy into electric energy efficiently through redox reaction under the function of catalyzer after setting proper parameter conditions and continuously putting the fuel and oxidizing agent into the device.As an important branch of fuel cell,the pem fuel cell has a great application and commercialization space,as it has many advantages like high energy efficiency and optimum discharge,etc.while at present,there is still existence of some obstacles that hinder the practical application and commercialization process of pem fuel cell.MRI is a kind of non-destructive and non-invasive visualization technology that had been broadly used in medicine in the early days,and at present,this technology has also been applied in a large scale in the material science.The reason why it is especially suitable for observing the transport feature of pem fuel cell in water is that MRI can observe the water distribution inside the pem fuel cell under the situ status.The fuel cell real-time detection system of a kind of MRI device is an important guarantee to realize the stable adjustment and control of parameters of fuel cell,the in-situ test and the data acquisition.This system contains fuel supply device,fuel cell,gas pipeline,temperature measurement and control apparatus,heat sink and data acquisition and processing unit.The fuel cell real-time detection system of the MRI device can help researchers to study on the water distribution inside the fuel cell,thus the internal status of pem fuel cell can be understood more thoroughly.It will be used to explain what is the pem fuel cell,how it works and why people research on the fuel cell.At present,platinum-based catalyzer has the highest redox catalytic activity,while as the precious metal platinum is not only expensive but is also of poor resistance for penetration of fuel micromolecules,it seriously restricts the large-scale application of fuel cell.Fe/N/C,material of pem fuel cell,is a kind of base metal oxygen reducing agent with great prospect.One of the important characters of this kind of catalyzer is that the inlet of nitrogen atoms breaks the electric neutrality of carbon material and thus it puts up an electropositivity,which is good for the adsorption and reduction of oxygen.The effective active site formed through combination of functional groups of nitrogen and iron ion at the surface of carbon material can also improve the oxygen reduction activity and stability performance of catalyzer.Besides this,the porous fluorinated carbon matter will increase the hydrophobicity,and the surface fluorination improves the stability and durability of pem fuel cell.The reason of promotion of Fe/N/C-F performance is that surface fluorination not only restrains the carbon corrosion but also builds a microvoid transmission channel for gas and liquid in the proton exchange membrane,which improves the anti-"floodings" and hydrophobicity of it.Thus further exploration of chemical compositions and characters of metal iron and nitrogen in the oxygen reduction active site of catalyzer is of great importance for the development of high-activity and high-stability base metal carbon material catalyzers.
