Light and electricity are at the cutting edge of green chemistry, because these are eco-sustainable,clean and inexpensive resources. As human has become gradually conscious of the adverse impacts of chemical industry on the environment, the development of methods to efficiently utilize the energy of light and electricity has attracted of people. In recent years, photocatalytic and electrocatalytic have emerging as versatile and powerful technique for the construction of organic molecules.Direct fictionalization of C-H/S-H bonds to construct new chemistry bond is of great significance and more efficient method for synthesis of goal compounds in terms of atom-,and bstep-economy.Based on the literature,in this paper,we described background, progress and latest research of photocatalysis and electrocatalysis in synthetic chemistry. On the other hand,we summarized research of direct functionalization of C-H/S-H bonds.Based on these strategies,we carried out a series of studies of photocatalytic/electrocatalytic C-H/S-H bond functionalization. The main research contents of thesis include the following three parts Part ?:Visible-light photocatalytic?-hydroxylation of ketones.Visible light,in combination with the molecular iodine catalyst-mediated?-hydroxylation of?-methylene ketones, has been developed. The reaction proceeds smoothly in methanol at room temperature under aerobic conditions and shows exclusive selectivity toward methylene ketones.Mechanistic studies have revealed that the reaction proceeds by a radical pathway.Renewable energy,metal-free catalyst and abundant oxygen source alongside a wide scope and novel selectivity are features that make this strategy practical and eco-friendly.Part ?:Visible-light photocatalytic?-hydroxymethylation of ketones. We have developed a visible-light mediated?-C(sp~3)–H hydroxymethylation of ketones using methanol as hydroxymethylating reagent.Using 1 mol%of rose bengal as photocatalyst and air as the green oxidant, the reactions proceed smoothly at room temperature.Experimental studies indicate the reaction proceeding via a radical pathway.Part ?:Electrocatalytic synthesis of sulfinate esters via thiophenol with alcohol We have developed a simple and efficient method synthesis of sulfinate ester from thiophenol and alcohol using an electrochemical technique. This transformation proceeds smoothly under mild electrolytic conditions.
