Sulfur-containing organic compounds are widely found in nature and living organisms, and have important applications in medicine, pesticides, and materials.Especially in the medical field,it is the core pharmacophore of many drug molecules. For example, sulfonamides are very important antibiotics. They are also found to play an important role in anti-inflammatory,anti-viral and anti-tumor effects. In addition, there are also reported in the literature that aryl sulfone compounds have anti-tumor activity,anti-inflammatory effect,anti-fungal,and activity of inhibiting HIV-1 in vitro replication. Many drugs for the treatment of diabetes,Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's syndrome also contain thioether building blocks. In the view of the important value of sulfur compounds, the development of a simple and efficient construction method has been a hot topic in the field of organic synthesis and drug synthesis.Among them, the use of simple sulfur-containing compounds as sulfur sources for the synthesis of these drug molecules is the most direct and effective strategy. It has been reported that some organic sulfur-containing small molecules such as sulfonyl chloride, sodium sulfinate, thioether, sulfonic acid, sulfonamide, sulfonyl hydrazide and they can be used as a sulfur source to synthesize the corresponding sulfur-containing compounds.Among these organic sulfur-containing small molecules, sodium sulfinate is more active than sulfonylhydrazine, sulfonamide, etc.,more stable than sulfonyl chloride, and more convenient to operate. Therefore, this paper selects sodium sulfinate as the sulfur source to develop a novel methodology to synthetize allyl sulfone. The entire paper is divided into the following sections:The first chapter summarizes the research progress in the application and synthesis of sulfur-containing compounds. In the second chapter,the?-disubstituted nitroalkenes were directly sulfonated with sodium sulfinate under the condition of no catalyst, and the allyl sulfone compounds were synthesized. The reaction conditions were screened, and more than20 compounds were synthesized with high selectivity. The final product, and characterized the structure of the compound. In the third chapter, the sulfonation of?-disubstituted nitroalkenes with sodium sulfinate under the system of I2/TBHP was studied to synthesize allyl sulfone compounds. The reaction conditions were screened and the yields of different reaction conditions were compared. In the fourth chapter,we studied the aliphatic nitroalkenes as raw materials, synthesized nitro-alkened allylic sulfone compounds under the catalysis of I2,and characterized its structure. In Chapter five,a series of control experiments were designed and the mechanism of the reaction was studied. It was proved that this reaction is a radical reaction of sodium sulfinate with?-disubstituted nitroolefins under the promotion of Lewis base.Chapter six gives a brief summary of the above research work and looks forward to the follow-up work.
