In this paper,the application and sizing efficiency of cationic rosin sizes were investigated.The influences of the dosages of surfactants including dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride,hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromideAccording to the structural characteristics of AKD wax powder design and synthesis of modified cationic starch as emulsifier,The effects of adding amount of ether,adding amount of etherification agent,etherification time,etherification temperature and holding time on the degree of substitution were discussed.And the optimal scheme for preparing high-substituted cationic starch was obtained.On the basis of preparation of cationic starch with high degree of substitution,This paper discusses how to prepare high performance and high stability surface sizing agent,The effects of emulsifying temperature,emulsifying time,homogenization number of homogenizer and proportion of wax emulsifier on the energy and stability of the product were investigated through experiments.Finally,the optimum conditions for preparing high performance and high stability surface sizing agent are obtained.Aiming at the shortcomings of the surface sizing agent in the process of sizin.Finally,the effect of different initiator,different acrylamide ratio,different temperature and time on the product should be investigated experimentally,The optimal conditions for the grafting of acrylamide to cationic starch were explored.Thereby preparing an enhanced surface sizing agent.The cationic starch emulsified AKD wax powder obtained by the enhanced surface sizing agent has good stability,he emulsion can be used as a surface sizing agent for paper such as coated paper,In the process of sizing,comeof the functional groups in the surface sizing agent can react with groups such as hydroxyl groups on the fiber and starch to improve the overall surface sizing effect.
