The hot cone fallout of cigarette is an important factor causing quality problem feedbacks from consumers,the fallout performance of the hot cone is directly related to the consumers` acceptance to the cigarette brand.At present,the fallout performance of the hot cone of cigarette is mainly tested by manually smoking.Due to the inefficiency of the manual test and the obvious influence of human subjectivity,it could not meet the demand of the performance and quality evaluation of the hot cone fallout.For the problems mentioned above,a test method by simulating the behaviors of manual smoking is presented in this thesis.Based on the method,a device for testing the propensity of the hot cone fallout of cigarette is designed according to the key characteristics of the behavior of smokers,which could make accurate evaluation of the propensity of the hot cone fallout of cigarette in batches.The main research contents in this thesis include:Firstly,a test method is presented in this paper.By simulating and studying the behaviors of a consumer during smoking the cigarette and dropping the cigarette ash,the design conditions for a test device is acquired.Secondly,by analyzing the working principle of the device,the design scheme of the device that meets the design requirements is proposed in this thesis.The main components involved in the device are selected.The design of the overall mechanical system as well as all control units in the device is discussed.Finally,according to the requirements of the mechanical structure and the control units of the device,a software system is designed in this thesis by using the modular design method.It implements the functions such as automatic ignition,suction,ash dropping and automatic evaluation of the hot cone fallout.By testing the device and comparing with the manual test,the results indicate that the device works stable and the measurement is reliable.The device can provide objective and accurate data for the evaluation of the performance of the hot cone fallout of cigarette and the design requirements are achieved.
