China attaches great importance to the conservation of the ecological environment under the background of strengthening the construction of ecological civilization.The state has continuously improved the work of wildlife conservation through the legislation because wildlife is a friend of man and an important member of the entire ecosystem.Meanwhile,the conflicts between humans and wildlife are intensifying year by year due to wildlife habitats are constantly being destroyed as the continuous expansion of the scope of human life and the development of the economy.Overall,the situation of wildlife conservation is still relatively serious.Moreover,the distribution of wildlife is uneven and mainly concentrated in economic zones are both the disadvantages in the wildlife conservation.The balance between human development,ecosystem and reginal development should take into consideration to realize green sustainable development.At present the system of ecological compensation that has carried out in areas such as forests,watersheds,grasslands in China can be used for reference on wildlife conservation.The establishment of such system can balance the ecological benefit distribution and environmental obligations including biodiversity and wildlife resources conservation.The implement of ecological compensation on the wildlife conservation seeks to achieve sustainable,green and harmonious ecological development through involving the masses of people in non-wildlife gathering areas based enhancing the common responsibility and goals.This paper puts forward the way to perfect the legislation and construct the ecological compensation system on wildlife conservation under the basis of the current situation and problems of wildlife conservation and the practical experience of ecological compensation in China combining the theoretical basis of supporting the ecological compensation system with China's national conditions.
