The annual production of rollers in the Northwest Coal Companyis about 800,000 knots,with more than two million roller bearing seat,and the market is in high demand.Roller bearing seat belongs to the precision parts,its size and shape tolerance accuracy must be ensured to satisfy the requirements of precision and interchangeability during the process of stamping.Thus the stamping die with fast and high quality production must be designed to meet the market demand for roller bearing seat.The manufacturing process of roller bearing seat includes blanking,drawing,punching andcutting,but only a single operation die is used in most of the industry.The production efficiency is low and a great deal of manpower and material resources are wasted.If single operation die is combined to compound mould,the required parts were obtained in a single process.It can not onlyimprove the production efficiency and reduce cost,but also can reduce the positioning error made by multiple position and improvetheaccuracy of parts.A new set of compound mould combined with punching and trimming process is designed.The new mould has the following characteristics:the first one is that it optimized to the original material returning mechanism,designedthe automatic material returning method of punching,trimming rod discharging,the mold can smoothly return material;the second is that it added to the guiding device,realizing the safety oriented mold;and the third is that the composite application of the punching die and trimming positioning mandrel is realized,not only the accurate positioning of bearing was made,but also it could be used as a die,which solved the problem of insufficient designspace.The simulation experiment of the key parts of the die is simulated with the ANSYS software,which verifies the rationality of the die design.After batch production verification,the quality of products meets the requirements of the product and the production efficiency is improved by two times.The successful design of the compound mould has laid a good foundation for the future development of the other 20 kinds of stamping bearing seat.Research on the compound die for trimming and punching of the bearing seat brings good quality and significant economic benefits to the company.At present,it has been applied to the other bearing seatwith different specifications,and achieves good economic benefits.The innovative design and application of the stamping compound die for the roller bearing seatfill the blank of the industry.Focusing on savingenergy and reducing emission laysa solid foundation for the fine manufacturing of lean.
