Study On Smell Detection Of Surface Decorated Particleboard With Paper Impregnated Thermosetting Resins For Furniture

In recent years,people's environmental awareness is stronger,the environmental performance of furniture is also higher and higher,a large number of board furniture manufacturers have been affected by smell complaints.At the same time,there is no relevant standard to detect and control furniture odor.Based on the present situation,this paper studies the detection method and the classification standard of the particleboard with paper impregnated thermosetting resins,and studies the influencing factors of the particleboard and the particleboard with paper impregnated thermosetting resins.This study first investigated the odor perception of the particleboard and its furniture products in different seasonal climate,different use areas and different contact groups,and initially established the standards of odor intensity.Through the smell detection standards,smell intensity classification standards,including automotive industry,clothing industry,food industry,adhesive industry,leather industry and so on.Analyze and arrange the methods of smell detection in various industries,and make the method of smell detection on the particleboard with paper impregnated thermosetting resins for furniture.Using the same batch of the same process pressure paste of the same plate on the initial developed standards of smell intensity division and detection methods to verify the detection method.According to the test results,the standards of odor intensity and the applicability,reproducibility and operability of the detection methods are analyzed.Then using the standard of smell intensity division and smell detection method,the paper analyzes the effect of wood material,adhesive and health time on the smell of particleboard in different factories in different areas.Smell detection study on the particleboard with different weight of paper impregnated thermosetting resins was carried out on the particleboard with paper impregnated thermosetting resins.According to the results of the study,the suggestion to reduce the smell of the particleboard with paper impregnated thermosetting resins was given.Based on the research of this thesis,the paper sets out the standards and detection methods for the smell intensity of the board and gives some suggestions to reduce the smell of the board and the surface of the board,which is helpful for the improvement of the standard system of the board and the furniture industry,and provides a reference for scientific research institutions and production enterprises to study the production technology to reduce the smell of the wood-based panels and its furniture,so as to solve the complaints about the wood-based panels and its smell.Further promote the healthy development of wood-based panels and furniture industry.The main findings are summarized below:(1)The standards of odor intensity classified in this study are:Level 1,no odor;Level2,slight odor;Level 3,apparent wood smell;Level 4,clearly uncomfortable smell;Level 5,unbearable smell.The test results show that this classification standard can effectively guide the odor assessor to classify the samples,and the standard of odor intensity is applicable.(2)In this study,a method was developed for the detection of the smell of the particleboard with paper impregnated thermosetting resins.The sample of the particleboard with a positive and negative surface area of 0.05 m~2 was put into a 40L glass dryer,and the sample dryer was placed in a 35?oven.After 24 h,the evaluation panel was composed of 3 people.An average of one digit is retained as the result of sample odor assessment.The test results show that the method is reproducible and operable.(3)The effect of production process on the smell of particleboard was found:different wood materials,different adhesives produced particleboardodor,Southeast Asia(mainly rubber wood)plate odor,domestic South(eucalyptus,hardwood)plate odor,domestic North(mainly poplar)plate odor.MDI gum production plate odor-Melamine modified ureal gum production plate-ureal gum production plate;The smell of the particleboard decreased with the increase of health time,after 15 d,the smell of the particleboard tended to be stable.It is suggested that panel manufacturers choose wood material with less odor and MDI glue as particleboardraw material.The life of the planer is(15~20)d,thus reducing the smell of particleboard.(4)The effect of pressing technology on the smell of particleboard was found:the heavier the weight of the original paper,the lower the smell of the particle board;The smell of the particleboard with paper impregnated thermosetting resins is smaller than that of the pressing film paper board of the pressing line of the import fast pressing paper.Production enterprises,through the choice of thick printing raw paper,using lower pressure paste temperature,appropriate extension of pressure retention time,to reduce the smell of particleboard with paper impregnated thermosetting resins.
