With the rapid development of the supramolecular chemistry, coordination chemistry has been studied widely. In the past two decades, large amounts of papers about organometallic complexes with different coordination networks and properties have been reported by chemists. However,it is still a great challenge to synthesize unique complexes. In this thesis, transition metal ions with d10 electronic configuration(silver(?)and copper(?))have been utilized to construct luminescent complexes.Significantly, effect of the binding modes of ligands on the structures and luminescent properties of complexes have been investigated. In this paper,we have studied organometallic complexes from two aspects.Firstly, the effect of different coordination modes of conjugated ethynide ligands on the structures of networks and fluorescence properties of silver-ethynide complexes have been investigated. The new chelating ligand 3,8-diethynyl-1,10-phenanthroline(L1)based on the tricyclic conjugated 1,10-phenanthroline has been synthesized successfully, which was further reacted with Ag ions to construct a new 3D organometallic complex Ag2L1·6Ag NO3(1).According to the analysis about the characteristics of the crystal structures and luminescent properties as well as our previous works of silver-ethynide compounds with similar structure which was assembled by the bridging mode of conjugated ligands and Ag ions,we explore whether the bridging and chelating modes of ligands play a key role in controlling the structures and fluorescence properties of the assembled networks from silver-ethynide complexes.Secondly,in order to design and synthesize compounds with excellent luminescent properties,we utilized 6,6?-dimethylbromo-2,2?-bipyridyl as host molecule and modified with 2-mercaptopyridine,then a new flexible ligand 6,6?-bis(2-pyridylthio)methyl-2,2?-bipyridine(L2)containing multiple coordination sites was achieved, which was further assembled with cuprous iodide to obtain C u2I2L2(2).The crystal structure and luminescent property of complex 2 have been studied in detail.
