Rotation axis is a core component of the precision numerical control equipment,whose rotation error is not only the significant factor of affecting machining accuracy of machine tool,but also an important index of evaluating machine tool's dynamic performance.Through measure rotation axis' s rotation error,we can adopt error compensation to improve the rotation precision of rotation axis which can effectively improve the machining precision of numerical control equipment.So in this article,the research on the measurement system of rotation error is carried out.Design a measurement system of rotation error which possess high precision and wide range,and do some rotation error test experiments to analysis the measurement system's reliability and accuracy.(1)Several measurement methods and error separation technique of rotation errors are compared and analyzed.According to the requirement of the system,the matrix algorithm of three points error separation technique is used as the error separation method of the measurement system,and an improved error evaluation method based on least square method is designed.(2)Design the rotation error measurement system's overall measurement scheme and function module,establish the measurement hardware system of rotation error based on the analysis and selection of hardware function.Modular design of each function of the measurement system by using VC++ and MATLAB,develop the software system for measurement rotation error.(3)Design the shaft test bench,the selection of its main hardware is calculated and analyzed,and analysis the comparison results of the shaft's axes alignment.The static analysis and modal analysis are carried out on the shaft test bench's model by using ANSYS.The deformation curve of the spindle of the static analysis is in conformity with the bending curve which explain the strength of the test bench to meet the experimental requirements,and modal analysis is made of the natural frequencies and modes of the spindle's each mode which provide theoretical guidance for the rotation error test of the test bench.(4)Do rotation error's orthogonal experiments.The rotation error measurement experiment of shafting test bench verifies the stability of the measuring system.Rotation error contrast experiment is carried out on two different machining centers.The stability and of the system and its generality are analyzed by comparing with the experimental results.Through the comparison of traditional error separation method and matrix algorithm verify the validity of the system.
