Photochromic materials have broad application value and great market prospect because it has unique intelligent insulation,radiation protection,insulation and decoration etc.It can realize the green environmental protection,energy saving,and has very important social benefits.The so-called photochromic polymer films,refers to the external environment,such as changes in illumination conditions such as temperature,can displaydifferent color films.The flat and strong glass films are prepared by brushing or spraying the photo chromicpaste coating on the glass,drying and curing.This new type of photochromic polymer film has a good effect on the UV barrier.The insulation effect of photochromic spirooxazine is outstanding.Its cost is relatively low,and we take the microwave rapid to synthetize spirooxazine which greatly accelerate the reaction time and the reaction yield,and it's propitious to promote the use of this materials.In this paper,N-methyl-3,3 dimethyl-spiro [2H-indol-2,3'-[3H] naphtho oxazine] was synthesized by microwave synthesis.It takes only a few minutes to complete the reaction.The pure product was obtained under the separation of silica gel column,the reaction time is greatly shortened compared with the traditional organic reaction.IR and 1HNMR and other analytical instruments were used to analyze the structure of the product,which proved that the synthetic material was the target product N-methyl-3,3 dimethyl-spiro [2H-indol-2,3'-[3H]naphtho oxazine].The optimum reaction conditions for synthesis of oxazinewere obtained by orthogonal experiment.The effects of different reaction power,reaction temperature,reaction time and different protective gases on the synthesis rate were investigated by the method of control variables.Comparative experiments show that the color of N-methyl-3,3 dimethyl-spiro [2H-indol-2,3'-[3H] naphtho oxazine] increases with the increase of the polarity of solvent before and after illumination.The color of the oxazinesolution changed from orange to cyan after illumination.The absorption wavelength of the solution increases with the increase of the polarity of solvent,the red shift effect occurs and the reaction showed a positive solventeffect.N-methyl-3,3 dimethyl-spiro [2H-indol-2,3'-[3H] naphtho oxazine] is converted from closed loop to open loop,and the electron transition occurs under the UV irradiation.In the study of the performance of N-methyl-3,3 dimethyl-spiro [2H-indol-2,3'-[3H] naphtho oxazine],we found that different concentrations of N-methyl-3,3 dimethyl-spiro [2H-indol-2,3'-[3H] naphtho oxazine] showed different colors because of the thermal balance between the closed loop and open loop.Under UV irradiation,the concentration of the open loop is increased accordingly with the increase of the concentration of the oxazine closed loop.This results in the change of the color of the oxazine solution,the higher the concentration,the deeper the color of the solution.Physical blending method was used in this paper,WPU was used as a high molecular polymer and DOP as dispersant to prepare the N-methyl-3,3 dimethyl-spiro [2H-indol-2,3'-[3H] naphtho oxazine]-WPU thin films,and we explore its performances.The following conclusions are obtained,there is a certain solubility in the polymer matrix,it will separate out if the content is more than a certain amount.Its content also affects the film absorbance and the transparency of the film.The dispersing agent DOP has the effect of compatibilization.The addition of DOP to Polymer can enhance the compatibility of N-methyl-3,3dimethyl-spiro [2H-indol-2,3'-[3H] naphtho oxazine]and Polymer.Oxazine is distributed uniformly in the matrix,and the film surface is more smooth.The N-methyl-3,3dimethyl-spiro [2H-indol-2,3',-[3H] naphtho oxazine]-Polymer films were colorless and transparent before UV irradiation,and the films became blue after irradiation.The color of Polymer film changed obviously before and after illumination,and the color of film changed from colorless to blue.After UV irradiation of Polymer films,a strong absorption peak appears in the UV absorption spectrum,this indicates that the formation of carbon double conjugated structure.Increase the illumination time,the absorbance increases and the absorption spectrum curve moves up,the intensity of absorption peak gradually increase.The absorption intensity is no longer enhanced after a period of time.It indicates that the photochromic reaction has been completed.
