Research On Financial Status Of Baotailong Shares Based On Harvard Analysis Framework

With the rapid development of China's economy,the traditional coal chemical industry has been severely impacted in the past few years.The continuous increase in the prices of raw materials such as steel and coal,and the sluggishness in the coal chemical market,have had a significant impact on the traditional coal chemical industry.However,the dilemma is accompanied by opportunities,which suggests that we must dare to break through,reform and upgrade the traditional coal chemical industry,achieve sustainable development,and transform into imperative new developments.Baotailong New Material Co.,Ltd.,hereinafter referred to as Baotailong Shares,is the research object chosen for this paper.Its original name was Qitaihe Baotailong Coal Chemical Co.,Ltd.Baotailong Shares is a leading company in the coal chemical industry in Heilongjiang Province,China.In order to speed up the transformation and development,Baotailong Shares has shifted from the traditional coking coal chemical industry to the coal-based petrochemical industry,and has further developed into the deep processing of high-tech graphite such as graphene and high-purity graphite.Baotailong Shares has undergone two major transformations,which is a strong representation of the transformation and upgrading of industries into new energy and new materials.In this paper,Harvard analysis framework was used as the basis for analysis of Baotailong Shares financial statements from 2012 to 2016.On the basis of the analysis of strategy,accounting,and finance,the prospects of Baotailong Shares were analyzed,predictions and development strategies in the foreseeable range were proposed,the business risks faced by the industry were summarized,the financial status of Baotailong Shares was studied,the problems and causes of the company were pointed out,and the countermeasures for improvement were proposed.At the same time,this research result is hoped that it can provide a reference for other companies in the coal chemical industry for transformation and upgrading,as well as companies that are committed to the development of new energy and new materials,because this transformation model has promotional value and represents future development direction.After the analysis of the case in this paper,the following conclusions were drawn.China's supply-side reform has achieved results,and it is imperative that the traditional coal chemical industry should be transformed and upgraded.Baotailong Shares has a good growth,a growth capacity,a reasonable debt-asset ratio structure,and a good long-term debt repayment ability.Baotailong Shares needs to increase its sales net margin and asset turnover in the future to promote the improvement of corporate profitability and operating level.
