China is a country with a few per capita forest area and high content of wood ancient buildings.With the rapid economic development,the demand for timber and the forest resources consumption increased year by year.But insects,corrosion and other natural factors will cause the destruction of ancient buildings and living trees,which not only resulted in a waste of wood,but also affect the economic cycle of development.Therefore,it is need to implement protective measures to improve the quality of timber and the value of ancient buildings.In order to protect the ancient buildings and living trees scientifically and effectively,we must first carry out investigation and analysis on the interior of the wood.Considering to maintain the integrity and aesthetics of the ancient buildings and living trees,we select the X-ray non-destructive testing.Then the object is obtained by ray detection,and processing the image that includes image restoration and image segmentation lays a good foundation for the identification of wood defects and the judgment of material condition.Firstly,the research background and significance of wood image processing are introduced.A variety of non-destructive testing techniques are analyzed.The research status of restoration and segmentation of wood X-ray images at home and abroad is described,and the main work is introduced.Secondly,the genetic algorithm is deeply analyzed.The theoretical foundation of genetic algorithm and the design methods and techniques which need to be paid more attention when genetic algorithm is used are mainly summarized,and the application of genetic algorithm in image restoration and image segmentation is analyzed.Thirdly,considering the fact that the crossover and mutation probability of the standard genetic algorithm cannot be adjusted dynamically and the limitation that iteration is slow in the latter part of the algorithm,a fuzzy genetic and ant colony fusion algorithm is designed to deal with the blurred image of wood caused by noise and motion.Through the image restoration experiment with Wiener filter,fuzzy genetic algorithm,fuzzy genetic and ant colony fusion algorithm,the results of experiment show that the proposed algorithm can achieve the restoration of the wood ray image,and the restoration effect is better than other algorithms.Fourthly,considering the complexity of the traditional two-dimensional maximum entropy algorithm and the global searching ability of the genetic algorithm,an improved genetic and two-dimensional maximum entropy algorithm is designed for the segmentation of wood-ray image.Through the image segmentation experiment with one-dimensional maximum entropy algorithm,two-dimensional maximum entropy algorithm,standard genetic and two-dimensional maximum entropy algorithm,improved genetic and two-dimensional maximum entropy algorithm,the results of experiment show that the proposed algorithm can realize the segmentation of the defective region,and the segmentation effect is better than that of other algorithms.At last,summing up the work done,and prospecting the valuable problems in the research process.
