This topic selects gel based plugging agent widely used in petroleum industry as the research object.Aiming at the problems of low detection accuracy,such as viscosity,shear rate,starting pressure gradient,compressive strength,and so on,which are easy to destroy gel structure characteristics,etc.A non-contact analytical method and instrument design principle for measuring the physical characteristics of gels by using image recognition technology are presented.The whole system is divided into hardware design and software design.The design of the hardware subsystem combines the specific actual situation of the gel-type water blocker in the oil pore blocking water and the application conditions of the Poiseuille's law,and gives the design scheme and selection of the main modules of the hardware system,such as: pressure drive module,machine vision module and his auxiliary module Standard,software subsystem design for image processing of the core algorithm language and C...for the graphical interface to build a modular hybrid development of language design concepts,through the use of dynamic link library methods,to achieve gel image acquisition and processing,data storage and analysis and other functions.The analysis of the physical characteristics of the gel is the core content of the system,according to the basic characteristics of the gel moving in the capillary tube,first of all,the gel image is pre-processed,and then an adaptive threshold segmentation method of breadth search is used to obtain the precise gel recess surface,combined with the visual displacement method and the Poiseuille's law,and then the dynamic mechanic properties of the gel are calculated and analyzed.During the breadth search,the system automatically retrieves all curves within the capillary boundary based on the results of the segmentation,finds out the recess surface of the gel,and avoids the effect of the split inner ring edge of the gel image on the analysis of the physical properties of the gel.Data about the physical properties of the gel collected and calculated are stored in a database and have the advantages of queryability,exportability,and aggregation.After the completion of the system adjustment,this paper uses the gel solution provided by a Chinese petroleum company to make experimental measurements of the system,compares the experimental results with the gel viscosity value calculated by the adaptive threshold segmentation and the measurement results of a rotating viscosometer of a Chinese company.
