Due to the current existing outdoor trash bins which cannot effectively keep trash and prevent it from producing odor and other related environmental issues,In this research paper I have designed a solar smart trash bin which by appearance looks good to improve on aesthetic of traditional trash bins.Smart trash bin is a bionic inspired concept of hibiscus flower blooming mechanism.The detection,monitoring and management of wastes is one of the primary problems of the present era.The traditional way of manually monitoring the wastes in waste bins is a complex,cumbersome process and utilizes more human effort,time and cost which is not compatible with the present day technologies in anyway.This paper proposes an advanced method in which waste management is automated.Radio frequency identification(RFID)is one of the most promising and anticipated technologies in recent years.The system makes use of radio frequency(RF)tags and web support.The system consists of four main subsystems namely Smart Trash System(STS),Local Base Station(LBS),and Smart Monitoring and Controlling Hut(SMCH)among others.The whole bin system is designed using TRIZ theory which offers examples leading in new directions of innovation that is the TRIZ principles.It is powered by a 12V solar transformer;it has a battery and a fire extinguisher.The LCD screen is used to display the status of the level of garbage collected in the bins,indicate power and position information.Smart trash bin concise design can also be customized depending on the owners needs with optional stickers' designs,and full graphic designs with customized graphic wraps portraying environmental protection,and harmony.The technique will save lots of expenditure.And it can effectively reduce the cost in protecting the environment.Knowing environmental protection is a focal point for most Governments,the Smart trash bin will provide a simple answer to the problems linked to packaging waste disposal in the clean cities.This work presented here certainly provides a novel approach in handling and disposing off the day to day solid wastes in an efficient and easy way.The proposed system will be able to automate the solid waste monitoring process and management of the overall collection process.The technologies that will be used in the proposed system are going to be monitoring and managing for green environment.The proposed system is designed to be a general trash bin that would be able to automate the solid waste monitoring process and management of the overall collection process in cities.
