In recent years,with the rapid development of hot rolling strip technology,the production scale is growing rapidly.China's hot rolled strip has entered the stage of severe overcapacity,and the market is facing fierce competition in the face of unprecedented downturn.At the same time due to the oversupply of products,hot rolled strip quality for downstream users is becoming more and more high quality requirements.Therefore,the study of automatic gauge controls is very necessary and essential condition to ensure product quality.In the thesis,the Qiangang 1580 mm hot-rolled steel production line is the background.Based on the actual situation of production of special steel grades and thin specification steel grades,starting from the basic theory of thickness control,the structure and function of mechanical equipment,HGC hydraulic systems,automatic control systems and human machine interface in finishing area are detailed analyzed and researched.Binding site usage requirements mill modulus AGC,gagemeter AGC,Xray monitor regulator,mass flow compensation,load distribution balance,roll eccentricity compensation,feed-forward AGC and roll gap compensation etc eight control strategies are designed.And you can use or adjust control strategies based on steel and process requirements to ensure the accuracy of the strip thickness control.Based on the influence of strip thickness accuracy in the production process problems for further research,the reasons are analyzed,and control measures are formulated.Applying these measures to the production,its effect is analyzed by running the test.To establish state of rolling mill control technology system,from high-precision spatial measurement,photogrammetry,mill vibration test analysis and optimal gap management the four aspects,the mill stiffness is optimized to improve the stability and consistency,and to increasing the thickness of the rolling force AGC control accuracy.Strip rolling process is more stable when rolling thin gauge strip is more significantly.In view of the loop oscillation problems in the process of rolling,on the strip head.body and tail optimization measures for different control aredesigned to reduce the volatility of angle and tension,and the thickness of the strip pull n and substandard.Work roll cooling water flow distribution optimization programs are designed to improve the cooling efficiency and work roll temperature uniformity,symmetry,and to reduce the volatility of the value of roll thermal expansion compensation values.The application of the results of this paper has achieved remarkable results,and effectively improved the stability and thickness control accuracy of the strip.
