With the development of science and technology and the improvement of economic level,computers,mobile phones,microwave ovens and other household appliances have been widely used in daily life,which provide convenience for people,but also bring electromagnetic radiation.Actually the electromagnetic environment in life is deteriorating.Many studies have shown that long-term exposure to electromagnetic radiation is harmful to human beings,especially pregnant women and fetuses.Therefore,more and more pregnant women around choose to wear radiation-proof clothing,which also creates a broad market prospects for this technology and products.At present,great progress has been made in the research of radiation-proof fabrics.Also various kinds of radiation-proof fabrics with high shielding properties have been produced and obtained.However,there are few studies on the influencing factors of shielding effectiveness of radiation-proof clothing.The main objective of this project is to improve the electromagnetic shielding function of clothing.Firstly,starting with the propagation law and shielding mechanism of electromagnetic wave,the general electromagnetic theory is connected with garment processing methods and style characteristics.And the sewing technology and structural factors affecting the shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding clothing are summarized.The common silver-plated,semi-silver and nearly semi-silver fibre fabrics were studied.The electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of silver-plated fibre fabrics under four different sewing parameters,i.e.stitch density,type of sewing thread,stitch type and number of machine needles,was measured by orthogonal experimental design.Through variance analysis,the influence of sewing parameters on the shielding effectiveness of fabrics in the sewing part of electromagnetic shielding garment was studiedin order to obtain the optimum sewing parameters.In order to improve the shielding effectiveness testing process of electromagnetic shielding clothing by shielding chamber method,a self-made shielding effectiveness testing platform for electromagnetic shielding clothing was developed.Combining with the existing experimental platform of the school-electromagnetic shielding room,through the actual measurement and T test,it is found that the test platform will not interfere with the test process of shielding effectiveness,which verified its practicability.On the basis of silver-plated fabric,a kind of electromagnetic shielding and absorbing fabric,polypyrrole/cotton composite fabric,was prepared.The shielding effectiveness of chest and abdomen of electromagnetic shielding clothing sewn with two kinds of electromagnetic shielding fabrics under different structural parameters was measured by using shielding chamber method through orthogonal experimental design.Then through variance analysis,the influence of various structural parameters of clothing on shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding clothing is studied.And through multi-element regression analysis,the regression model of electromagnetic shielding effectiveness between chest and abdomen of electromagnetic shielding clothing was established.Also,through verification,it is found that the model has good predictability and can provide some reference for the structure design of electromagnetic shielding garment.
