At present,high-density electrical exploration,as a part of electrical exploration, has been a relatively mature geophysical exploration method and has been applied in a large number of practical projects. The following problems can be effectively solved by high-density electrical method: determining the buried depth of bedrock and dividing the weathered zone and loose sedimentary sequence of bedrock;detecting underground goaf;detecting hidden faults and fracture zones;detecting hidden objects underground and underwater;determination of the depth of the aquifer and the distribution of the aquifer, etc. However, there are few relatively cases of the application of high-density electrical method in the detection of seepage layer damage in landfill sites and our government has not made relevant regulations. Therefore,it is a subject worthy of further exploration to study the damage detection of the anti-seepage layer of the landfill site by three-dimensional high-density electrical method. In this paper, the basic theory of 2-D and 3-D high density electrical method and the basic theory of forward inversion are introduced. At the same time, the feasibility of "wenner" and "single-stage-single-stage" electrical devices in this geophysical exploration is analyzed in detail and their unique advantages are expounded. In addition, this work relies on the detection of seepage protection layer damage in the Jiangbei landfill treatment plant of Hanzhong city, and also elaborates the specific operation involved in the engineering work and emphasizes the problems that may be ignored in the actual work, which has a strong reference value for future work. The specific research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Firstly,the current research status and development of high-density electrical method are described, and then the basic principle, device type, basic theory and working method of high-density electrical method are described.(2)According to the data provided by the owner and the results of the field survey of the detection work, the paper introduces in detail the physical geography and meteorological conditions, regional geological structure, terrain development and topography of the working area of the Jiangbei landfill treatment plant in Hanzhong city.(3)Before geophysical exploration, physical property tests were carried out, which proved that there was a very obvious electrical difference between the garbage body and the undisturbed clay layer in this work area, which provided a geophysical premise for the subsequent application of high-density electrical method. Then the method validity test will be carried out to verify whether the high-density electrical method selected in this work can better reflect the actual geological situation. Finally, the quality evaluation of the results of the high-density resistivity method obtained in this work is conducted in accordance with the technical specification of the resistivity section method(DZ/T 0073-2016),which is the geological and mineral industry standard of the People's Republic of China,to determine the reliability of the data results.(4)In this work,2-D and 3-D high-density electrical exploration are combined, and the corresponding 2-D high-density electrical inversion pseudo-sectional drawing,3-D high-density electrical inversion stereogram and section drawing are obtained through the two detection methods. Then the leachate leakage of the target body was analyzed and judged better.
