| China has successfully won the right to host the 2022 Winter Olympics,which will certainly attract attention to environmental protection issues.In order to solve the environmental problems arising in the Winter Olympics,it is imperative to effectively protect natural resources and the environment.The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics will attract the attention of the whole world and will become the benchmark for Asia and the world.2022 Beijing Winter Olympics will become an important platform to show China’s green development concept.This paper uses the literature method,questionnaire survey,comparative research and mathematical statistics method to understand residents’ perceptions and awareness of Beijing Green Winter Olympics and their views on the future development strategy of the Winter Olympics.Understanding general situation of different groups of residents to improve residents’support for existing or future policies,so that the concept of environmental protection is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:Firstly,it analyzes the close relationship between the Winter Olympics and the environment,and proposes that the Winter Olympics pay attention to environmental protection,promote the improvement of urban geographical environment,rational planning and construction of infrastructure,and balance of social,economic and environmental values.Secondly,this paper takes the iconic environmental protection measures as the node,and divides the process of environmental protection of the Winter Olympics into four stages.Thirdly,obtain 10 variables that measure residents’ perception of 2022 Beijing Green Winter Olympics.Fourthly,based on the case study of Beijing residents’ perception and cognition of Beijing Green Winter Olympics,a sample survey and analysis of Beijing residents shows that residents have low awareness of the 2022 Beijing Green Winter Olympics;Subdivision can be divided into three categories:experience,realist and embracers;and the cognitive level of the three types of residents is different.Fifthly,it studies the environmental protection situation of 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and suggests establishing an environmental protection system of the Beijing Winter Olympics based on the 6 aspects of education,development,monitoring,evaluation,governance and security of the environmental protection.It puts forward the following ways of implementation:grasping the principle of environmental protection and innovating a new system;implementing policy measures and forming a long-term mechanism;using environmental management means and doing a good job of environmental evaluation monitoring;paying attention to a public environmental education system and creating a favorable environmental protection atmosphere. |
