Since the beginning of the 21st century,the energy crisis has become an incontrovertible problem.For the survival and development of human beings,fossil energy has a very important impact.The country's industry,economy,science and technology,people's livelihood and many other fields cannot do without the support of fossil energy.However,fossil energy is a non-renewable resource,which will be gradually exhausted with the continuous exploitation of human beings.Although new oil fields and natural gas resources have been discovered in recent years,they are still inadequate for the huge energy consumption capacity of human society.At the same time,a large number of fossil energy consumption also leads to a variety of environmental problems,including the use of fossil energy to produce a variety of harmful gas pollution of the environment,as well as the most important issue at present-the greenhouse effect.The huge amount of carbon dioxide produced by the burning of fossil energy causes the continuous rise of global temperature,leads to all kinds of extreme weather,sea level rise,and threatens the homeland security of coastal countries.Therefore,the development of new energy,gradually replace the proportion of fossil energy in the energy consumption structure,to achieve sustainable development.Among them,the biomass energy in the new energy has extremely broad application prospect.Biomass energy has the advantages of large volume,output and distribution,and it is essentially derived from solar energy.Biomass resources to convert organic raw materials to the most remarkable.This paper mainly introduces the research results of obtaining maleic acid and fumaric acid from furfural oxidation in new DES.The first chapter introduces the source of furfural from biomass,which can be obtained from xylose dehydration,and the important application of furfural.Sources,preparation,properties and applications of deep eutectic solvents(DES).DES has good biocompatibility,and excellent chemical reaction performance,easy to make,the composition is mainly from biomass resources,and environmentally friendly.The second chapter describes the experiment of converting furfural into maleic acid and fumaric acid under mild conditions with hydrogen peroxide as oxidant and DES composed of oxalic acid and choline chloride as solvent.The effects of DES composition and proportion,the amount of oxidant added,water content,reaction temperature and reaction time on the reaction results were investigated.Finally,the mechanism of the reaction and the extension of the reaction were discussed.The experiments of preparing maleic acid and fumaric acid from monosaccharide through furfural and HMF pathways were preliminarily explored.In chapter 3,considering the disadvantage of hydrogen peroxide as oxidant,we try to prepare maleic acid by oxidizing furfural with sodium chlorate as solid oxidant.Explore the influence of the composition of DES,the type of catalyst and other factors on the reaction results.
