Metal is affected by many factors in the process of friction and wear.In this paper,the main influencing factors in the process of friction and wear are selected for the friction and wear test.This article selects the ZM6 and ZK60 magnesium alloy as experimental material,through the orthogonal experiment method to design thrust ring sliding friction and wear testing scheme,the MMW-1 a universal friction and wear testing machine to test and research under the condition of room temperature dry friction,load,speed and surface roughness of the two metal materials the influence of the coefficient of friction and wear mechanism of the analysis.The order of the influence of the above factors on the friction coefficient was obtained by variance and F test,and the optimal scheme was determined.Under the condition of dry friction at room temperature,the friction coefficient of ZM6 magnesium alloy friction pair first decreases and then increases in the initial time stage.With the increase of time,the friction coefficient fluctuates in a certain range and becomes stable.At about 15 minutes,the friction coefficient gradually increases with the increase of time.When the rotating speed is 30r/min,the friction coefficient increases with the increase of load,and when the speed is high,the friction coefficient curve decreases with the increase of load.With the increase of roughness,the friction coefficient decreases first and then increases at different speeds.Under the condition of dry friction at room temperature,the fluctuation trend of friction coefficient of ZK60 magnesium alloy friction pair tends to decrease as a whole in the initial period,and tends to increase slowly in about 5 minutes.When the rotating speeds are 30r/min and 45r/min relatively low,the friction coefficient tends to be similar with the increase of load,increasing first,decreasing then increasing,and the overall variation range of friction coefficient is low.When the rotationalspeed is relatively large at 60r/min and 75r/min,the friction coefficient tends to besimilar with the increase of load and gradually decreases.With the increase ofroughness,the friction coefficient curves at different rotational speeds tend to decrease first and then increase.Under the condition of dry friction at room temperature,the influence ofdifferent factor levels on the wear amount of ZM6 and ZK60 magnesium alloys is asfollows:the wear amount increases with the increase of load,speed and roughness.Under the condition of dry friction at room temperature,the wear mechanism ofZM6 and ZK60 magnesium alloys in the process of friction and wear is determinedby observing the surface morphology of wear,which are abrasive wear,oxidationwear and adhesive wear respectively.By means of variance and F test,the order of friction coefficients of ZM6magnesium alloy affected by various factors was obtained from large to small,namely,roughness,speed and load,and the optimal scheme was obtained as A1B2C1.The order that affects the friction coefficient of ZK60 magnesium alloy is from largeto small:load,roughness and speed,and the optimal scheme is A2B3C2.
