Iron and steel industry has always been one of the important foundations of industrialized countries in the world.Usually,the output is also an important index to measure a country’s economic strength,and it is also the basis for the development of national economy and construction in China.The survival and development of iron and steel industry directly affect the future of the country and the living standard of the people.However,in recent years,the iron and steel industry has entered the "new normal",and the steel industry is facing many financial problems under the new situation.Therefore,it is necessary to study the financial problems of iron and steel enterprises.This paper takes Shougang Group as the research object to analyze its financial problems.First of all,the paper expounds the research background,purpose and significance in detail,and reviews the relevant research results at home and abroad,and puts forward the research methods,contents and ideas of the paper.Secondly,the paper introduces the related theories,including the introduction of financial analysis and Harvard analysis framework.On this basis,the paper introduces the general situation of Shougang Group,including the brief introduction of Shougang Group and its operation.Then,as the core analysis link,the paper uses Harvard analysis framework to analyze the financial situation of Shougang Group,based on the above four aspects,this paper puts forward the main problems existing in the financial management of Shougang Group,including unclear strategic objectives,excessive inventory,heavy debt service pressure,poor growth ability and so on.Finally,in view of the above problems,the paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the financial management level of Shougang Group from four aspects: strategy,accounting,finance and prospect,and makes a summary of the full text.Through the research of this paper,the purpose of this paper is to help Shougang Group carry out financial management analysis and improve the efficiency and quality of its company management.The management of iron and steel enterprises represented by Shougang Group,especially the financial management,is also faced with.Many problems,such as unclear strategic objectives,weak independent R & D ability,unreasonable product structure and so on.Therefore,it is necessary to study its financial problems scientifically and carefully.
