Melon was one of the main economic crops in Xinjiang,it’s existing melon planting area has been expanding,which has become a pillar industry of agricultural production and farmers to increase revenue one of the important channels.In this experiment,"Xizhoumi 17"melon as the test material.Random centroid mapping optimization method(RCO)was used to select suitable storage gas ratio and packaging materials,the main difference was measured changes melon fruit packaging materials and different ratios of different gas components during storage Mining appearance,physiological index,respiration rate,ethylene production,soluble sugars,organic acids and respiration rate of the main respiratory pathway,evaluation and selection of the key parameters on the modified atmosphere packaging technology for postharvest melon“Xizhoumi 17”,to provide a theoretical basis for Xinjiang melon packaging technology in storage and Transportation Engineering.The main research results as follows.1.Melon postharvest storage process,the screening experiment of 9 groups of gas ratio and the membrane materials of the 5 different types were designed by RCO to divided into 14 treatments,The hardness,soluble solids,respiration rate,ethylene production,relative electrical conductivity and weight loss rate of fruits during cold storage for 50 days were research,The results show that the modified atmosphere can reduce the hardness and soluble solids of the melon fruit during storage,delay the appearance of respiration intensity,inhibit the ethylene release,reduce the relative conductivity and lose weight damnify,and overall quality was better than CK.Polypropylene packaging materials and the concentration of O2 8.629.45%,CO2 1.421.80%for the fresh-keep effect was relatively better in these three groups(PP4,PP5,PP6).2.The effects of three groups(PP2.4,PP2.5,PP2.6)on the atmosphere treatments on postharvest quality of melon were research,during the period of 60 days,the fruit color,titratable acid content,fruit water content,infact fruit rate and decay rate were used as screening indexes to optimize the method.PP2.4package filled with O2 9.45%,CO2 1.55%in the best of the three atmosphere treatments.It can effectively delay the flesh color fade,reduce the titratable acid content decreased,maintain the water content of the fruit,improve the infact fruit rate and reduce the decay index.3.Research on modified atmosphere ratio effect on melon respiration rate,at the end of storage period,the three atmosphere treatments of total respiration rate for PP2.5>PP2.6>PP2.4.The contribution of TCA pathway to the total respiration during the period of melon storage was relatively high,that PP2.4 in the storage period of 50 days TCA pathway peak and less than the same period PP2.5,PP2.6;the EMP respiration rate of PP2.4 peaked at 30 days;the PPP respiration rate of PP2.4 was always lower than that of the other two atmosphere treatments during the whole storage period;Three atmosphere treatments at the end of the storage period of CP respiration rate increases;The fruit of each package treated had a peak of AP respiration rate for 30 days and then decreased.4.The contents of soluble sugar(sucrose,glucose,fructose)and organic acids(oxalic acid,ascorbic acid,citric acid,succinic acid,malic acid)were determined by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).During storage,sucrose accounted for the largest proportion of sugar components,there were significant differences between the three atmosphere treatments in the sugar components of CK;PP2.4 at the end of the storage period of sugar content and sweetness of the highest;The total acid content of melon pulp decreased;atmosphere treatments total acid content of melon pulp was higher than that of CK for PP2.4>PP2.5>PP2.6>CK,to the end of the period on the total acid content of 3.659.82%was higher than that of CK.5.The relationship between the respiration rate,soluble sugar and organic acid in different ways were analyzed by correlation analysis and principal component analysis with SPSS software.The results showed that the modified atmosphere package melon pulp could shorten the cycle of sugar acid as the substrate of respiratory metabolism,better to retain the taste of melon flavor. |
