Left-handed metamaterial,has the negative effective permeability and permittivity simultaneously in a frequency range,it does not exist in nature,but a new type of artificial electromagnetic material,has opposite electromagnetic properties compared with conventional material,has many wide and important applications in the optical imaging,microwave component,antenna system,electromagnetic stealth fields and so on.In recent ten years,the left-handed material has developed fast,different design types were proposed.Many problems exist in those designs proposed before,such as complex structure,narrow band width,large loss,large volume and high cost.In this paper according to the constitutive parameters model of left-handed material,new design is adopted,overcoming the problems above,it is based on the integration of electric resonator and magnetic resonator,has the advantages of two dimensional left-hand.The results of HFSS software simulation and a series of effective electromagnetic parameters extraction show that the left-handed structure has small unit electrical size and low loss,has the negative effective permeability and permittivity in two dimension,in the first dimension frequency range is 8.2-14.9GHz and relative bandwidth reaches 58%,in the second dimension frequency range is 8.6-14GHz and relative bandwidth 48%.The representative left-hand structures generally have about 10%of relative bandwidth,just in one dimension.Finally,the rectangular waveguide method further proved the correctness of the conclusions.The application of left-handed material is more and more widely,but the narrow relative bandwidth restrict its development and application,the structure unit proposed in this paper well overcome these shortcomings,lay a good foundation for the application of left-handed material.
