Nowadays,more and more fashion brands are known and loved by people,but the development time of Chinese local fashion brands is not long enough,and the design style is mixed,having not formed its own style.Most of the domestic local fashion brands just copy the form of foreign designs or copy Chinese elements.There is little deep analysis and research on the design of the fashion brands clothing pattern aiming at Chinese cultural elementsIn the thesis,the study subjects of fashion brands pattern design are Chinese medicine culture and traditional Chinese medicine icon,through the investigation and analysis of domestic and foreign outstanding fashion brands products,it can be found that the success of these brands are cannot do without exploring their own ethnic culture or innovative application.Traditional Chinese medicine icon,as a visual reflection of Chinese medicine culture,conveys information by means of figures,words and symbols,and expresses them with pictographs,knowing,abstraction,integration of Chinese ancient painters and physicians.It has a unique style of expression and aesthetic characteristics.Different traditional Chinese medicine icons express different concepts,which have the cognitive feature of settled symbols.Through the extraction,integration and generalization of the modeling features of traditional Chinese medicine icon,integration,the thesis summarizes the Chinese traditional graphic modeling techniques,then combines with modern fashion,brands pattern design,searches the common point between the two,and explores feasibility of the combination of traditional Chinese medicine pattern and fashion brands icon,sums up the pattern design method suitable for local fashion brands,and finally to achieve the aesthetic needs of the pattern design of local fashion brands.The design of spring and summer fashion brands in 2019 in The World Medical Center,as an example,the author combines the herbaceous plants in traditional Chinese medicine icon such as Ganoderma lucidum,angelica,gourd,ginger with popular network language by metaphors,personification,humorous style and Chinese traditional words,giving traditional Chinese medicine icon new cultural connotation and new implication.It derives the cultural spreading value,aesthetic value and commercial value of traditional Chinese medicine icon in the design of fashion brands clothing.Through the research and application of traditional Chinese medicine icon,there are new cognition and exploration to Chinese traditional culture in the design of fashion brands clothing,which provides certain reference value for the design of local fashion brands pattern.
