The hand disinfectants currently used in the market generally have a strong antibacterial effect, but there is an effective protective period is too short and the virus, especially non-enveloped viruses, such as norovirus, poliovirus and other enteroviruses, adenovirus,Hepatitis A virus, and certain capsular viruses such as rabies virus have no obvious short effect.Epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG)is the main component of the tea extract polyphenols.EGCG has extremely high anti-oxidation and antibacterial ability, and it has antiviral effects on many viruses. In this study,EGCG was added to the formulation of disinfectants to develop a new and efficient hand disinfectant and test its performance. The test mainly tested the disinfectant's ability to kill poliovirus 1,influenza virus H3N2,and enterovirus 71,and compared it with other disinfectants on the market. The final result shows that this new type of disinfectant has a virus inactivation efficacy that far exceeds the existing disinfectant.Has a broad market prospect and application value. |
