Abstract/Summary:
Straightening of the steel is an important part of the finishing process.It is the process of treating the various defects present in the section steel after production.Parallel roll straightening machine is commonly used to eliminate these defects.However,the accuracy of the straightening machine is influenced by many factors.The structural form of the important parts of the straightening machine is one of the main factors that affect the straightening machine precision.This paper is mainly on the 8 rollers vertical elevator rail straightening machine of Changjiang Runfa(Zhangjiagang)Pu Steel Co.Ltd’s production line.The relationship of elasto-plastic deformation and bending moment of elevator rail is deducted systematically.The maximum straightening force is calculated as working load and three-dimensional model of the frame is setup using SolidWorks.Then Finite Element Analysis of the frame is carried out.As a result,distribution diagrams of deformation and stress are obtained and could be used to ensure the accuracy of straightening.In addition,the strength and deformation of rolls are simulated and the modal analysis of the frame was carried out.Continuously efforts have been made to improve and enrich the straightening theory by the majority of domestic scientific and technological workers.However,many theories and calculations are difficult to verify due to experimental conditions.The impact deformation analysis of section steel is conducted using ANSYS in this paper.This will provide some reference for further study of the FEA of section steel strengthening process.
