In order to effectively separate phosphorus minerals from low-grade refractory phosphate rock in Qingping area of Sichuan province by flotation method at low temperature.Using cottonseed oil fatty acid,tartaric acid,twelve alcohol polyoxyethylene alkyl ether and 135 iodine as raw material,synthesized and compounded to get a new collector.It was applied to the flotation of Sichuan colloid and phosphate rock and the single mineral test,dynamic potential test,surface tension test,infrared spectrum analysis,adsorption quantity and adsorption heat test to explore its flotation performance and mechanism.The experiment confirmed the method of drug synthesis by direct flotation as follows:A mass ratio of 1 part of tartaric acid and 2.5 parts of dodecanol were mixed and reacted at 160°C for 60 minutes,a light yellow transparent liquid DC-1 was obtained;Take1 part DC-1,then add 5 parts cottonseed oil soap mixing evenly as phosphate rock flotation collector TDC-1.The mass ratio of 6.25 parts of OP-4 and 6.25 parts of NP-4 was added simultaneously to 87.5 parts of TDC-1,stir until the traits are not changed,the resulting product is the new flotation after synthesis and compounding Collector TDC-2.TDC-2 as a direct and reverse flotation collector,ore grade 21.80%of the collophane in Qingping area of Sichuan Province is being flotated by a flotation,anti-flotation a rough sweep of the closed-circuit process,thegrinding fineness of-0.074mm accounted for84.20%,the direct flotation temperature of 10?,the flotation of coarse flotation sodium carbonate dosage of 4.0kg/t,water glass dosage of 2.0kg/t,collector TDC-2 dosage of1.0kg/t,direct flotation sweep collector dosage of 0.3kg/t,the amount of reverse osmosis sulfuric acid was 6.0kg/t,the amount of citric acid was 0.45kg/t,the collector TDC-2amount of 0.45kg/t,the amount of reverse-sweep sweep sulfuric acid 1.0kg/t.The flotation index of closed-circuit process with P2O5 grade of 30.78%,P2O5 recovery of87.88%,MgO content of 0.76%and SiO2 content of 9.74%was obtained.Single mineral flotation test results shows:Under the action of TDC-2,both dolomite and colloidal phosphate have good floatability,but quartz floatability is weak.It can be able to flotation separation collophane and quartz under pH conditions of about 9.0,flotation separation of collophane and dolomite under acidic conditions at pH<5;under the condition of pH>5,the ability of TDC-2 to capture three single minerals comes down to:collophane>dolomite>quartz;magnesium and calcium ion has a certain activating effect on quartz flotation;TDC-2 is less sensitive to calcium and magnesium ions than cottonseed soaps,and has a stronger ability to capture phoshate.Zeta potential test shows thatunder alkaline conditions,TDC-2 has been chemically adsorbed on the surface of dolomite and Collophane.Test of surface tensionshows thatthe CMC value of TDC-2 is about 12mg/L,the CMC value of cottonseed oil fatty acid soap is about 24mg/L,the concentration of TDC-2 needed to form micelles was lower than that of cottonseed fatty acid soap.Infrared spectrum analysis shows that tartaric acid and twelve alcohol has esterification reaction,under the condition of pH=9,the collector TDC-2 have chemical adsorption form on collophane and dolomite surface besides physical adsorption.The adsorption capacity and adsorption heat test shows thatunder the condition of pH=9,the adsorption amount of oleic acid on the surface of dolomite is greater than that on the surface of Collophane,and the adsorption process is spontaneous,oleic acid more easily adsorbed on the surface of dolomite,the enthalpy value of oleic acid on the surface of dolomite and collophane is more than 84kJ·mol-1,and the type of adsorption is chemisorption.The synthesis and compounding agent has the advantages of strong catching ability,good selectivity,low sensitivity to calcium and magnesium ions and good low temperature resistance and low production cost,it is of great significance to reduce the cost of beneficiation and improve the dressing efficiency,and has good application prospects.
