The Z-type liquid crystal oligomer is formed by a long flexible chain and a rigid block formed by a conjugated benzene ring(OPV)and biphenyl by a Sonogashira reaction,and have a certain self-assembly into various ordered nanostructures.The self-assembled morphology can accurately constructed into supramolecular aggregates with various dimensions and sizes,through adjusting the volume fraction of the flexible chain in the molecule,the cross-sectional area,and adjusting the shape of the rigid block.However,through the interaction between the host and the guest,the structure,morphology and function of the assembly can be changed.Due to the interaction between the host and the object is strong,a more stable and larger three-dimensional assembly can be formed,and various responsive materials can be introduced,Therefore this responsive functional material has a good application prospect in the future.The self-assembly behavior of the bulk and aqueous solution was studied by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and atomic force microscopy(AFM).owing to the various supramolecular structure and nanostructures can be constructed by rod-coil molecules,it is widely used as a functional material and nanomaterial.
