Non-realistic rendering(NPR),also known as art rendering,is used primarily to simulate artistic painting styles.With the continuous development of image processing technology,image researchers have simulated the unique Chinese ink painting,pyrography,Yunnan heavy color painting and other art works in China.This paper takes Miao embroidery as the research object,and studies from five aspects,i.e.extraction and segmentation of embroidery images,morphological processing of embroidery images,stitching style simulation of Miao embroidery,texture map synthesis and superposition of Miao embroidery,and finally realizes the digital synthesis of Miao embroidery.According to the characteristics of real Miao embroidery art style works,this paper proposes an algorithm of needlework of Miao embroidery with arbitrary Angle,equal distance and equal length.Among them,Miao embroidery texture map is extracted and segmented by embroidery image,and then its morphology is processed.The work of this paper is as follows:1.According to the characteristics of Miao embroidery pattern with exaggerated composition and distinct hierarchy,the target image is processed with gray level.According to the difference of gray level image,multi-threshold image processing method was adopted to divide multiple embroidery images.2.According to the characteristics of Miao embroidery patterns,which are round,natural and compact,morphological calculation is adopted to eliminate the stray points in the embroidery images,fill the empty points in the embroidery images and smooth the pattern edges.3.According to the characteristics of multi-angle stitch texture of Miao embroidery art works,a stitch generation algorithm based on spatial transformation of image matrix and establishment of equal distance and equal length stitch model is used to generate stitch texture of Miao embroidery from different angles for each embroidery image.4.Aiming at the characteristics of concave and convex texture of Miao embroidery pattern and three-dimensional texture of embroidery lines,multiple stitches of Miao embroidery from different angles were synthesized into texture map of Miao embroidery by image algebra.5.Aiming at the strong color contrast characteristic of Miao embroidery art works,the texture map and target image of Miao embroidery are superimposed with Alpha transparency hybrid algorithm to produce the final effect image.The experimental results show that the method proposed:in this paper can extract and segment embroidery images well,simulate the stitch texture of Miao embroidery at any Angle,and obtain the color features of the target image,and finally realize the simulation of the artistic style of Miao embroidery.
