Research On Development Strategy Of DW Group

Since the reform and opening up in 1978,China's private economy has developed rapidly.The number and scale of private enterprises have increased rapidly.Private economy plays an increasingly prominent role in China's economic and social development,and has become a very important force to support and promote China's economic and social development.According to statistics,private economy accounted for more than 60%of GDP in 2017.As a steel deep processing product,steel pipe is widely used in construction,petrochemical,power and other industries.Its output accounts for about 10%of steel output,and it has become the basic material to support the development of various industries.However,the development of private enterprises is not smooth sailing.In recent decades,private enterprises have experienced many financial crises and other external risks.Each crisis has caused heavy losses to the development of private enterprises,especially small and medium-sized private enterprises,which account for a large proportion of the development difficulties.After China's economy entered a new normal in 2013,in order to improve the quality of economic development,the state began to vigorously eliminate backward production capacity and implement more strnngent environmental protection policies to change the extensive development mode in the past.It is against this background that many small and medium-sized private enterprises engaged in steel pipe industry are under great threat.How to adjust the development strategy of private enterprises to adapt to the new external environment changes and ensure the healthy development of private enterprises and private economy has become a task for every private entrepreneur.Starting from the formulation of the development strategy of DW Group,a small private enterprise engaged in steel pipe production,this paper analyses the external environment of DW Group,such as macro environment,industry economic characteristics,life cycle and competitive environment,using the theory of strategic management,PEST method and five-force model,and uses the evaluation matrix of external environmental factors to analyze the opportunities and threats it faces.Then the internal environment of DW Group,such as development status,resource and capability value chain,core competence,is analyzed,and the strengths and weaknesses of the company are analyzed with the internal environment factor evaluation matrix.When choosing strategy,SWOT analysis method is used to analyze the external opportunities and threats,internal strengths and weaknesses of the company in detail,and the combination strategy SO strategy,ST strategy,WO strategy and WT strategy are analyzed respectively.Combining EFE and IFE matrix,the conclusion of DW Group's transformation development strategy is finally determined.Then the strategic orientation,objectives and implementation path of the company's transformation strategy are designed.Finally,a series of safeguard measures are put forward.At the end of the paper,the important conclusions are summarized,and the implementation of the company's transformation strategy is prospected.The main innovation of this paper is to apply strategic management theory to DW Group,a small private enterprise engaged in steel pipe industry.Starting from the internal and external environment,fully combining the characteristics of steel pipe industry and small and medium private enterprises,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of DW Group-with strategic analysis tools,and finally draws a conclusion that DW Group implements the strategy of transformation and development,and designs strategic objectives and approaches.And safeguards.This paper provides reference experience for other small and medium-sized private enterprises or enterprises engaged in steel pipe industry,which is conducive to promoting the sustainable development of China's private economy and steel pipe industry.
