The development of the external cylindrical energy dissipating device is to reduce the pressure before the high-pressure sand-containing liquid flow enters the throttling pipe to ensure the safety of oil and gas field production.The device uses a rotating throttle piece that deflects a certain angle in the cylinder as a rotating component to form a spiral flow of the high-pressure liquid flow,thereby achieving the purpose of energy dissipation.The initial model of the energy dissipating device is modeled by using theoretical analysis method,computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT is used in numerical simulation study of the gas phase,the Standard k-? turbulence model is adopted to describe the velocity and pressure of the gas phase.The initial model was optimized by changing the opening angle and deflection angle of the throttle piece,and the optimal structure of the model was selected after comparative analysis.Through the simulation analysis of the energy dissipation efficiency of the device under different Reynolds numbers,the velocity variation law of the fluid is studied,and the energy dissipation mechanism of the device is explored.Related research results show that: The external cylindrical energy dissipating device has reasonable structural design and good decompression.The throttle slice opening day flow energy dissipation device before and after the pressure lifting is obviously,show that the site is the main area of energy dissipation and the enemy dissipation effect is food;The throttle slice opening day fabricated in the same opening conditions,energy dissipation device dissipation increased efficiency with throttle piece torsion angle increases,the deflection angle of the throttle plate with the same composition,energy dissipation efficiency of the device decreases as the vane opening degree increases;increases with the main pipeline floe Reynolds number increasing;Device is a helical flow attenuation characteristics of three-dimensional rotating spiral flow,tangential speed cannot be ignored;The energy dissipation mode of the liquid flow in the energy dissipation device mainly includes local head loss,head loss along the path and energy dissipation of the combined impeller section,and the vortex and spiral flow formed by the flow increase the collision,friction and blending between the liquids.The final kinetic energy is converted into heat energy,and the purpose of energy dissipation is achieved.Through the simulation study,the structure and energy dissipation characteristics of the external cylindrical energy dissipating device are given,which provides a new idea for the energy dissipation of oil and gas pipelines,and provides a theoretical and data basis for future related research.
