The tailings are concentrated and dewatered into a high-concentration slurry,and finally made into a paste to fill the subsidence area and goaf area,which not only saves the area of the tailings pond construction,but also reduces the pollution to the environment.Advanced tailings treatment methods.As the core equipment for thickening and dewatering of tailings,the thickener can be closely connected with flotation,magnetic separation and other links,which greatly improves the efficiency of beneficiation and tailings treatment.It is currently the most commonly used tailings thickening equipment.The important parameter in the thickener process is the underflow concentration,which needs to be continuously tested online.However,the existing slurry concentration detection and slurry sampling technology exist in the research,and the large flow and high concentration characteristics of the underflow slurry of the thickener have not taken into account the interference caused by the detection and sampling of the slurry.It is prone to precipitation when applied to the underflow slurry of the thickener.Problems such as clogging,low sampling representativeness,and difficulty in controlling sampling volume.At present,the sampling and testing of underflow slurry of thickeners mainly rely on manual sampling and testing using concentration pots,which has the disadvantage of low efficiency.In view of the above problems,this paper takes the inclined plate thickener of Xintian Concentrator as the research object and has done the following work:(1)The hydraulic swirling energy dissipation method is used as the basic sampling method for the underflow slurry of the thickener,and the swirling energy dissipation principle is used to realize the energy dissipation,mixing,and anti-settling treatment of the slurry.According to the basic sampling method,the sampling plan is carried out design.(2)Using three research methods: energy dissipation calculation,numerical simulation,and field test,the relationship between the structural parameters of the sampler corresponding to the sampling plan and the sampling effect has been thoroughly and comprehensively studied,and it is concluded that the sampler can reach the set value.The theoretical structure parameters of the sampler corresponding to the sampling target are set,and the feasibility of the sampling plan is studied.(3)Using the weighing method as the concentration detection method,selecting PLC,load cells and corresponding instruments and meters to construct a set of online continuous sampling and concentration detection system,and test the system in Xintian Concentration Plant to improve the system's consumption.The performance rate,sampling representativeness,detection accuracy,stability and reliability were tested and evaluated.(4)The test results show that: in the long-term use process,the sampler successfully reduced the flow rate of the slurry discharged from the thickener to the preset range,the whole sampling process and the inside of the sampler did not appear to be blocked by sedimentation,and the accuracy of the detection system Within 2%,the concentration unevenness of the overall sampled slurry does not exceed 2%,the system is stable and reliable,and the application effect is good.
